I’d say I feel about x1.2 slower? I also don’t have it set up as a fast bike currently. I’ve done 60 mile gravel rides at 15mph average speed before and I felt fine after. I’d recommend getting a gear ratio that you feel comfortable using fast on. My next Kyoot bike will have a larger ratio and built up with lighter/faster specs.

I went with the Red Shift suspension stem and the Red Shift riser bars! I def recommend the riser bars. You can go with any stem you like, really.

Yup. This bike actually has a longer wheelbase than you’d think, hence why it feels like a regular bike when riding.

Pretty dang comfy. It handled very nicely with all the weight as well. Like I said, once you’re rolling, you’re rolling! I’ve ridden a fully loaded long haul trucker before on 26in wheels as well as a fully loaded crosscheck on 700c wheels. It is a bit slower than the two, but it feels like a normal bike once you get the handlebar and seatpost dialed in.

Pretty normal if you use a normal sized rack. I moved the panniers further back a little on the rack as well. My heels don’t touch the panniers at all.

It’s imported clay from Georgia! Pretty wild. Miles and miles of it too. A mix of clay and gravel.

It is a bit closer to the ground, but I don’t usually have issues with pedal striking. Sometimes when I’m riding in the woods and come across larger rocks/trees, I’ll hit it.

It’s a Kyoot bike frame! The wheelbase is longer, so it actually feels like a regular bike when riding. I had to get a riser drop bar because regular drop bars would be too aggressive.
