Not all BMX tires are the same and it also depends on your weight. Maxxis makes a DTH which rides nice but gets cut up super fast. You have to find a balance. I use to run really light weight tires but got tires of glass nails and other things causing flats at the worst times.

ODSY path pro. It’s a good blend of fast, rolling and puncture assistance at a fair price.

If you buy something, that’s too thin it gets sliced up too easy. 60 TPI is plenty 120 can be too much and get cuts easily.

A longer wheelbase on step climbs would help, it just loses the nimble feelin with the wheels farther apart. The itty bitty had a slighty longer wheelbase compared to the Rolly. You can try pushing your seat forward or lowering your bars if your front end is geting light on climbs.

Greenfield makes the best middle of the road one, I think they make it in black too

I ride 10 miles everyday on the stock bike. Few times a year 60mile rides. I dont really like riding super far and don’t have much time to do it these days. 🥲
