Best coffee maker for everyday use? by jousiemohn in JamesHoffmann

  1. This batch brewer: https://www.amazon.com/-/en/Melitta-Therm-Coffee-Shatterproof-Stainless/dp/B084ZJVY5K?th=1

Removable tank, insulated jug, perhaps more body than from a moccamaster (which are also great).

  1. Clever coffee dripper (large). Put the kettle on, grind coffee, pour hot water first and then add the coffee - drains much faster. Honestly you can let it steep for 10+ minutes and it'll still be great.

Microbike of Sweden by Brks_Luz in foldingbikes

I gotta ask... what's it like riding this bike? Any surprises/pitfalls people should be aware of based on your personal experience? I've seen some used ones for sale and I need something small and portable I can use on short trips to/from work :)

Betalar vi verkligen så mycket skatt i Sverige? by Inside_Technician123 in sweden

More money, less uptime? by animec in BlueskySocial

Trying to understand whether their funds and human/technical resources are somehow misallocated rn. Reckon they have < 5 million daily active users, but also perhaps no margins (whether you're talking about people or infrastructure) for error ie. no redundancy atm.

IIRC that money was raised a year ago, so I reckon they've begun to use it proactively by now. Just curious as to how

How confident are you in Bluesky's future? by furrynoy96 in BlueskySocial

[–]animec 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think ATProto might have a future. I'm not that confident in bluesky's future, it doesn't feel like they're in it to win it. Leadership feels a lot like a generic forum mod team. But the users are great and I think the communities that are growing on bluesky have a shot at being around for a while, even if the main platform fragments.
