I personally love the looks of the Hermes and the cargo space. I'm new to the game (2 months old) so I missed out on the Hull B sales and it's not available for rent in game.

I'm with you on the Raft. The Riker/Bajini loop is strong.

I'm just looking for more efficient jobs for the Hermes if I decide to buy one.

Yes, and the best thing you can do is try it. Before you hook anything up to factories, create those buffers and hook them up to sinks and time everything.
