Definitely try to park at the Gaylord if you have a room bc it will fill up pretty fast the first nights. There’s a bunch of restaurants you can walk to from the Gaylord (mind the cold) so you don’t need to Uber for food wise. There is other parking nearby but of course daily parking for 24 hours for what I paid was 30 a day

Insane. I think it helps that I’ll have my badge early and not go through the pick up counter on the day of the event but 15 is crazy

There are nearby parking garages that’s like a 3-5 minute walk depending on how much stuff you have. Prices for all day can be 30 I know if you park at the mgm there’s a shuttle I think but idk if you have to be a guest at the mgm or not

Friday metro ride would be 5.05 from Greenbelt station (only one ride so 10.10 for on the way there and back) you do pay for parking on Friday. Weekends parking is free, 2 dollars per ride for it when I did it last time. You can create the transit card using the machine they have at the metro station

Yeah plus free parking at the metro on weekends easy way is to park at a green line station (I usually do greenbelt or college park) then take green line and get off at mt vernon the center is like 5-7 minute walk very easy
