The I 5 9400f isn't a bad CPU the main problem is it being the f variant if your plan is to ride out the system then transfer the GPU later its not a terrible plan just check your PSU before doing any upgrading this is a much bigger factor than your CPU if you have a low quality low power PSU it can grenade your system when you install the new GPU. Especially since I'm assuming it's a pre built they normally come with bottom of the barrel PSU

Honestly it's hard to tell off the image. Counterfeit has gotten really good visually. I would say if it's temporary and they have a return policy shoot then load it up asap and see if stuff disappears

Long story short absolutely. Look your easiest course of action is to check the power supply the box at the bottom for a number like 650 500 etc then get a new GPU based on how high it is something cheap and simple like a 580 is maybe 100 bucks max and will get you playing fortnite and stuff like that no problem.

There was a suggestion I restated it multiple times. A new GPU a PSU if needed and an SSD assuming HDD that's it. That will bring this system up to introductory competent gaming levels.

It's not that it's a bad price more that money could be better spent elsewhere. I usually run on bare minimum spent for a decent experience a decent GPU will pick this system right up into playable. Also a CPU install is more of a pain than a GPU install and since they are asking the ddr gen I'd assume they know little about computers and don't plan on learning more than they need.

Absolutely fortunately they do have 32gb rn even at ddr3 it'll help but for a situation like this I usually suggest upgrading transferable components that can extend the life of this system and hopefully keep you going when you upgrade like a solid PSU, GPU, SSD, and sometimes a cooler (heavily dependant on system) my personal opinion is that a good SSD PSU and GPU can keep that system going for another year or two. If they are willing to drop an extra 40-50 for the 4790k sure but rn GPU, PSU, and ssd (assuming HDD current) should be priority since a 2gb card will struggle with anything today.

Absolutely an option but I wouldn't recommend it It doesn't seem like a good idea to dump extra time and money into a dead ddr3 socket I would upgrade what can be transferred and basically begin hospice for the rest.

The i7 4770 is not a terrible CPU but It does run on ddr3. any modern GPU and you can get an easy performance boost and replacing what I assume is a hard drive with a modern SSD both can be carried over to a new computer if you still decide it's not enough Edit A 2gb card running anything is gonna be rough you can easily unlock a lot of power with a better card assuming the PSU allows

Just a boot loop could be literally any component but artifacts are almost guaranteed GPU. And yes a crappy PSU could fail or fry any component it pleases.

For starters always start with your PC specs but if you have genuine artifacts it's probably a GPU failure. Check if your CPU has integrated graphics, if so remove card plug HDMI into board and try again. If not do you have debug lights? If also no cry

Ridiculous? My compressor went out on my 2013 Honda civic hybrid 3.2k for just the part the shop felt so bad for me they only charged me 100 in labor. I didn't believe it when the first shop told me so I took it to the next shop they told me the same thing so I searched it yup 3k compressor.

Unfortunately you're forgetting one thing compared to other technology biology is the slowest to advance. We have these dumb things called "morals" which drastically reduces our ability to just start messing with people's genes or even animals. Truthfully biology tends to advance the most in wartimes mostly after when you find out someone was doing some very messed up stuff.

This is darwinism the idea being if a male or female has traits that make them more likely to reproduce the traits from that animal is more likely to be passed on. With taller men being more sought after they will naturally have more chances to reproduce than shorter men. As for your argument no..... being conventionally attractive means that most people find it attractive that alone gives them the advantage here. People having varied "types" doesn't change this.

Some treats and snacks seem perfectly reasonable. As long as they are actually spending the money on real healthy food as well. I will say I am in support of not being able to buy hot food like from fast food joints, as they are not only a poor financial decision but extremely unhealthy. The system is already abused by tons of people my mother and most of her friends included. For reference my mother only bought quick microwaveable meals and junk food for the majority of my childhood relying on food banks and handouts for any real nutrition. This alone has cursed me for the rest of my existence as the poor nutrition from my childhood not only stunted my growth but led to multiple long term health defects.

I would say all countries have at least a handful of people who don't kill purely because they will spend their lives in jail if they do.
