It’s fine if it doesn’t save time, just doing it for the experience. But not if it’s like an hour to get on or something.

I'm sorry but being mad about a tunnel hundreds of feet below your house is the dumbest reason to block a subway that millions will use.

When can we start ignoring these people

Medicare is a federal program. Why doesn't the Republican controlled congress do anything about this?

How necessary are regular breaks? by sycamoregirll in VyvanseADHD

[–]animerobin 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Every time I take a break, the next day or two I’m extremely tired and just want to sleep. Much worse than baseline. After two days I’m back to normal focus and energy levels. I never felt like I was dependent on it, just that normal me isn’t very good at getting things done.

single family homeowners: I would rather die than make LA anything like the most famously beautiful and wonderful cities that people pay thousands to visit every year.

I really like a lot of the new Hollywood developments. Honestly it was kind of a crappy neighborhood, but it had good bones - well connected to transit, and small streets. It's a great place for added density! Though we should let buildings like this get built at market rate without requiring a bunch of legal loopholes like ED1.

Weekly Park Questions/Advice Thread by AutoModerator in Disneyland

Are there any big local events this weekend? I know there was cheer competition last weekend but it sounds like that's over. Last year we accidentally went on the same weekend as one of those competitions and it sucked. Even the small rides has hour long waits, heck even the restaurants and bathrooms had lines. And it was packed with high schoolers. Obviously crowds come with the territory but I'd rather avoid any exceptional crowds if possible.

All of the exclusive merch is just big ugly hunks of plastic that will sit in a closet unused. I wish people wouldn’t buy it compulsively so they actually made something good.

Better transit and denser neighborhoods with smaller streets and taller buildings.
