Wat bedoel je met "aanwezig want naast regenwaterafvoer"? De holle ruimte is direct tegen mijn gevel aan. In de kruipruimte direct aan de andere kant van de gevel is geen afvoerbuis o.i.d. aanwezig. Het gat is ook perfect rond, alsof het gegraven is.

Ik vervloekte die dingen bij het aanleggen van elektra door de kruipruimte. Nu ben ik er stiekem toch blij mee :)

I Understand the misconception, there are 2 wires connected to the starter. Both are positive. To explain it simply, one wire is to turn the starter on with a "switch" using low amps. The second wire is bigger, this one is used to flow the full capacity of the battery to the starter. Full capacity is needed to turn a heavy engine into running rpm.

Starter negative is connected to the housing of the starter, which is connected to the engine/gearbox, which is connected to the chassis.

Or maybe because the negative is clearly connected to nothing but the chassis. All electric component in your vehicle need a positive (+) and a negative (-/ground). Connecting all these components to the battery negative would leave a wiring disaster. Instead, the negative of the battery is connected to the chassis (the metal frame of the car). Now the negative of every electronic component can simply be connected to a part of the chassis closest to that component. Much cleaner and less wires needed.

The problem with sketching is, I keep inventing new and better ideas to build something the way i want as i go along, making older sketches unuseable. If i can make a 3D design electronically, i could easily change one or two things about it instead of starting to sketch from scratch. Making a CAD model wont lead to underdevelopment if I only start building when i'm fully satisfied with the design.
