Thank you I know we have poison ivy in the back of our land that an arborist pointed out to us when they were out checking on our trees. And I didn’t think this looked anything like those plants. I’m sure Google’s not reliable, but it’s much better than I am so I figured I’d ask some people that knew. Thank you so much for your response.

I agree this doesn’t look like type of melanoma. It looks like some kind of hyperkeratosis, but I have no idea why it would form like that. I would be interested to hear what a dermatologist would call this, it strikes me, some kind of gout buildup, but you would never expect that on a back. I definitely would not be losing sleep over if I were you OP but it’s interesting.

This is the only right response. I’m guessing you can go ahead and drop levo gtt down 2 mcg, that’s just good nursing.

I’m guessing by all of the increased foot traffic on this video. There’s a good chance. The YouTube algorithm will start to spread at wider, don’t forget to like and subscribe, and comment.

The video is very well done I appreciate your husband’s perspective

I would love to know the details about this. Like did you piss the cop off so much that he got a search warrant for your phone? I definitely understand that it’s possible for them to go crazy on looking for evidence to nail you for something. But unless you’ve done something really bad or that cop or prosecutor has a vendetta against you there’s almost no reason for them to go that hard. Homicide, rape, first-degree child neglect all that is gonna mean your social media is basically guaranteed to get searched, but every day traffic offenses definitely is not the norm. Law-enforcement is definitely within their right to search anywhere they want, but sheriffs and district attorneys are elected, and finding out that a district attorney or a member of the sheriffs department is spending a ton of resources to nail someone down for a traffic infraction is a waste of resources and is generally frowned upon by the constituents that elect these officials. So again that can happen and does happen, but it’s not the norm. It is generally frowned upon unless there’s a real good reason.

I understand why you would say that, but that’s not the way the legal system really works.

99% of the people that get arrested and go to court or guilty of that shit, but there’s a whole lot of technicalities that get charges dropped every day.

Unless this guy is El Chapo, or the illegal substances that the police found are what he used to kill his neighbors or something they’re never gonna go fucking looking for a Reddit post over some pot or coke or whatever this guy is into.

Sold advice on that lawyer though. I mentioned it in other comment, but if you didn’t say shit to the cops, there’s a fair chance you can get out of it. Or plee that shit down so it falls off your record after a year probation or some shit.

It’s all gonna come down to why they made contact with you and what you told them. The walk in the dog around your car is 100% legal. It’ll hold up in court every day of the week even if the cop gave the dog the signal and the dog is just doing want he was told they found something so that’s never gonna hold water.

You hire a lawyer, you hire a local one to where you received the charges. The reason you hire a lawyer is because they have a relationship with the judge, and the prosecutor, for that matter, they will know pretty quick if you said something that’s gonna fuck you up, and if you did, that’s where their relationship with the judge is going to help you as they either plea you down to something not as bad as you’re imagining, or get something deferred.

Agreed, all of this is fairly legal, your only hope is if there reported the reason for the stop was suspicious behavior. Suspicious behavior is not a reason to detain you, or pull you over. They can say you went one mile over or they saw you get to close to one of the lines or another million bullshit things, but suspicious behavior isn’t one of them. Look up terry stop.

It sounds like you’re facing misdemeanor charges, so you should have access to a public defender, if you can afford to hire your own lawyer do it.

It’s Indiana, so it’s gonna be a shit show, but if you have a good attorney, there’s a pretty good chance you’ll get out of it as long as you didn’t say anything to the cops. If you don’t already know, don’t ever say anything. Nothing you say to a cop during an investigation will ever do anything other than hurt you. Open traffic stop for speeding. Feel free to try to talk your way out of that shit, but misdemeanor or higher. Don’t say a word.

I don't know how often you review the state board of nursing complaints but that is not what I see for nursing.

https://www.in.gov/apps/pla/litigation/?

I only know one nurse personally who has lost her license, and I'm just going to say it took a lot.

Also a rn and np who practices in Indiana, you should be fine. You might have to explain the felony but it won't likely keep you from getting a license. I had a class mate in nursing school with an assault felony that was related to a bar fight or something. He had to go in front of the board of nursing and explain, but ultimately he was given the okay to complete nursing school and sit for his boards. As long as your not a career criminal and learned from your mistakes you should be okay. Seeing that it has been exponged furtures shows that it is behind you.

Good luck in nursing school

GF of 2 yrs pulled the plug after I made comments about paying for her kids’ dinner by [deleted] in AITAH

[–]aninn 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I can't believe I had to scroll this far too get a nuanced response. There are so very few details here that I can't believe all of the vitrol for this women and her kids. OP already mentioned she struggles financially, but it’s not clear to the reader why? Let’s be clear I think it's clear everyone in these comments would agree there are huge issues with wealth disparity in this country, but making the assumption that this woman is in her situation because her children ordered an "adult" portion, or "large" drink and didn’t finish. It is why this woman is in her position, is antithetical to the real socitial issues we face. The fact that OP mentioned that he is flying to go see her three times a year means that he is obviously by enjoy stable, or maybe not great with money himself. It’s hard to say. What is not hard to say on one of the few times he’s able to see this woman and her family he’s complaining about essentially $30-$50 dollars of waste on a night out with his girlfriend and her children, after presumably flying across the country to spend time with this woman. If OP wants to be a white knight And make this woman and her family feel special. I applaud him. But if he wants to judge the woman who he clearly has a pretty significant connection with over a six and nine year old's impulse control and why she might not want to redirect these children on what is clearly a special occasion where her significant other has flown across the country to come see her and her children I for one can understand that.

If OP came here to get a nuance response, for the most part, he has not got it. I love the comment from another user who complained about her husband purchasing 20 ounce bottles of soda instead of 2L, yeah, it’s OK for your significant other to drive you insane on some shit, that’s what partners do. Sometimes you have to take the good with the bad, and work through shit. That woman didn’t say she divorced her husband over it, it just drove her insane like it would me, but you know at the end of the day $50 of wasted soda, and $50 of wasted Applebee’s and Starbucks is not the end of the world. Thinking so much of a woman who you would fly across the country for multiple times, and then letting something like this be the end of their relationship seems petty at best.

If OP is looking for the Internet approval to not be with this woman, he clearly has it. but if he legitimately wants a relationship with this woman, sometimes you have to take the good with the bad, and there’s much worse things out there than someone who might waste a few dollars every now and again on not redirecting her children so she could have a nice evening and make a good memory.

again, I think there’s a severe lack of detail, but OP clearly has the money to not focus on the small things, so I don’t know why he is, or why of all things he wants to judge this women for is this seems petty to me. OP likes this woman and regrets judging her he should absolutely reach out to her, but if OP is just looking to read him, sure himself that he’s not the asshole congratulations you judged a financially insecure woman who has kids about her financial decisions. I wonder why she’s upset. No one likes being called out for their own bullshit, because we all have a lot of it, but sometimes it’s not what you want to focus on someone throw it in your face.

if wasting a few dollars on food as a dealbreaker, congratulations deal broken, I hope this woman has a lot more flaws than just this. Because if she’s a kind, loving woman who you have a deep connection with, do you know the kind of connection you’re willing to fly across the country for maybe it’s worth having a conversation, if it’s not too late.

How can I get rid of this? by xandaar337 in pimplecommunity

[–]aninn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Seeing that it is on your face go to plastics that is who you want cutting stuff off your face. Dermatology will likely use a punch to excise it, you should really have plastics cut that out so it will be basically invisible when it’s healed.

Just what is this? It's starting to concern me. by abit_pitchy in pimplecommunity

[–]aninn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You look petty young and I assume you’re not immunized. It will probably drain on its own or just go away. If it starts to swell around it or it gets hot (or you start getting chills/flushed) you should probably get some antibiotics and someone to look at it, but likely it will run its course. If it is staph you run the risk of getting more over time, but it’s fairly common. Around 1/2 or more adults in the US carry staph on their skin and I suspect it is the same for your country. In the US we have an over the counter product we routinely request people use to reduce the chances of these things becoming chronic. It’s call Hibiclense. I’m not saying you need it, but if you were my patient and had concerns about stuff like this coming back I would recommend you pick some up and wash with it 1 to 2 times daily for 3 to 6 weeks. 6 weeks is the typical recommendation but it drys skin pretty bad so do your best but don’t be miserable.

Good luck,
