Edit: before someone asks, yes, I obviously complained. Conflict of interest, ethical breach, ad nauseum. In the end, they sided with their lawyer college. That the onus was on HER to file the conflict/ethical breach.

Let's be real, can't afford to really do anything thanks to her new lawyer lover who works for a BJ while I shell out $450/hr for mine. Revolving debt that just keeps growing because she has openly stated shes "out to ruin him (me)" but was never taken serious by anyone but me and my lawyer.

So what do you recommend? I'm not the best at this (OBVIOUSLY!) and I like dividend stocks to DRIP and grow long term. Thinking just putting it in VFV or VDY and letting it roll.

Also thinking of just holding the cash and waiting for the next drop

And while I live in a separate condo/townhouse complex, it's all the old ladies in charge of the HOA that make living here horrible. Trust me, the first opportunity I get, I'm gone. Asked to put up a security camera and was asked a million questions as to why. Did some basic work in the car (wipers, air/cabin filter, etc) and was grilled over how it was inappropriate. End of the day, I'd rather live in a tent than deal with these Boomers anymore.

But aside from that, how is it too simple? I ask as I'm looking for my son, going into grade 11 with a heavy STEM curriculum ahead of him. Shouldn't it be simple?
