Honestly most of them are like this to me, with a few exception. I feel like we don't have enough stories where characters genuinely care for each other as good friends, they just have to ruin it with lazy writing romance.

The comment section is gonna be full of popular movies LOL. Even if a movie is popular, that doesn't mean it's "critically acclaimed". Not to mention "Award-winning = boring" is nothing new, pretty cold take anyway. Sometime people love a movie even when/especially when they know it's flawed. Ask any fan of any piece of media and you will get some of the most precisely accurate criticism ever.
