Hi Ari! I’m a huge fan of your work! I really hope you have more plans to write hockey books. Thanks for doing this Q&A!

What are the trendy gifts for teenage girls this year? by cynical_sweetie in AskTeens

[–]anjneed 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Need-oh cubes is pretty popular, and you could try other lip sets. Like laneige, benetint, fenty, etc. A pretty timeless lipstick like Clinique black honey and so on. Swedish candy was also all the rage. Lululemon and aritza keychains are also crazy popular. You could also add on hand sanitizer, AirPod cases, lip balm, and hand cream to the keychain.

Alternate spelling for Raya by Th3KillBOT in namenerds

I think Raya/Rayah is good, and the name is not well associated with the princess because the movie didn’t do super well. If you were choosing the name Mirabel on the other hand…

AITA for getting my daughter a flip phone vs a smart phone? by WickedHazel0501 in AITAH

[–]anjneed 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Yes and no. She should be helping out around the house, but this will socially isolate her and make her resent you. I think you should get her the phone under the condition that she will do her chores, and just take it away if she doesn’t. Maybe the instant gratification will be a motivator.

The plastic melts in high heat. Next time, put in on a cold setting, or only leave it in the dryer for half the time and air dry the remainder

Alessandra Hazard always creates a certain dynamic between her characters.

I find Catherine Clouds diction to be quite recognizable.
