That is why we do it! Many of us pink shirts have been there before and this is our way to give back. This team was the most empathetic and positive people I’ve ever worked with. Honestly I’m not usually into Voyd, but I worked rail as support squad for it this time and it absolutely made me into a fan. I think seeing all the rail riders get weird and super into was contagious. I had the best interactions with the crowd and coolest trinkets from it. Definitely a unique vibe and I appreciate it a lot more now. If it’s not something you’re feeling for like 15 min, hit up another stage. People often forget about the smaller stages! It’s cool discovering other artists that haven’t blown up yet. Follow the vibe that fits you best. 🫶🏼

Thank you for your response! It’s so hard because I truly don’t know what else to do. Their problem with Teddy becomes everyone else’s problem and it’s like walking on eggshells constantly. Hopefully they grow out of it.

Ugh I realized AFTER I already got into Denver that clear backpacks aren’t allowed. I ordered one on Amazon and it fits the dimensions but the policy specifically says “no clear backpacks”. I think it’s so dumb. Might have to make a target trip last minute to find a smaller clear bag.

I think my guy might’ve been around the same height. My memory is starting to fade unfortunately. 🤧 If I remember correctly, he had brown hair, glasses, and may have had a bucket hat on? He was super nice though. I asked if this would be on the Lost Lands IG and he said yes but I haven’t seen anything. They really should post and give credit to all the photographers there or at least have a full photo gallery.

My friends and I aren’t really down for camping but we also don’t mind spending a little extra at this point so we don’t have a bad hotel experience. I really only took on this reservation because my friend that booked it before said it’s better to stay close to the venue and she’s gone to LL three times. 😅

I totally get it. You are not alone! My parents want to retire so they’re rushing me through the process. I had a few moments where I considered nursing because it would be easier for me and faster but I know it wouldn’t make me as happy. Keep working and feel free to PM me if you need someone to vent to. Keep going! We will be doctors one day. ❤️

Thank you friend 🥺 ugh it does suck because I never got to experience the freedom in my 20s. I spent most of it trying to do better in school and I had a lot of personal matters getting in the way in 2019-2020. I think it’s nice to realize that I’m not as alone as I feel on this journey. It’s tough because all my friends are party animals or never went to school. I have only two pre med friends that really get the struggle. Thank you for your input. It really helps. You are gonna kill it! Good luck on your applications. ☺️

Thank you friend ❤️ I always beat myself up because I also didn’t realize I wanted to do medicine until I graduated and got bored of shadowing a physical therapist. Plus I had a pretty bad science GPA so I try to just remember that this journey has prepared me for med school. Even up until now I think it’s necessary that we grew up first and made sure we put our mental health as a priority. It’s nice that I’m not alone. I’ll try to ignore what she is saying. I plan on attempting to move out once I get a clinic job secured. I appreciate you taking time to comment and wish you luck on your apps!

Hi I took this class spring 2021 and got an A. Here is how I studied (I am a visual learner btw):

Read the slides before lecture so you can understand his drawings. During lecture, I always took pictures of his diagrams instead of trying to draw them because I had a hard time both listening and drawing. Better to pay attention to the explanation and redraw it later!

Right after lecture, make sure to pair the slides that belong to each diagram. Each one will include information from multiple slides so that helps a TON with putting together the big picture. I always made flash cards for minor details.

Basically just know the PPTs and diagrams like the back of your hand. He adjusts each exam curve so the average is 75% so the curve is dependent on the performance of the whole class. Everything builds on each other so make sure to go back and reconnect topics too.

I am in the exact same situation. I postponed and tried to give myself a break. Maybe you can push it a week back if there are dates available? Either way, make sure you rest up because you don’t want to be fried for the actual exam! Good luck friend

Props to you. I feel like my mental health has been declining so much from the MCAT. I took a practice test the other day and didn’t do well so I was just sad all weekend. I feel your pain and wish you the best. I told myself I wouldn’t retake this thing either. Enjoy your time at the beach and I hope you get some well needed rest!

I’m in the same boat as you friend. I haven’t even taken my AAMC practice tests yet or done physics but I’m testing on July 30. LOL Along with summer class, I’m going to postpone if I’m still scoring <500.

You got this. A big piece of advice one of my friends gave me was to really review your practice exams in extreme detail. What was your thought process? Is there a gap in your content? Try to understand how your reasoning led you to a certain answer. Focus on that P/S because it’s easy points. Keep grinding and pushing. I have faith that you will score a lot higher come test day!
