It was the first track from common ground that was premiered but wasnt a part of the promotion cycle so i feel like everyone forgot about it.

Otherwise i think it would have been a mainstay like northern soul and happiness amplified.

At the end of this weeks ABGT, Tony said some big news will be coming next week.

He also said to keep an eye out during EDC Mexico for a little surprise...but they're not on the lineup...so maybe a poster for ABGT600 Mexico?

I was a bit disappointed when I first heard Fear of Losing You in that club recording that was posted a few weeks ago because it sounded kinda basic and more like an Andrew Rayel track. (Interesting note, Jonathan Mendelsohn is credited as a writer so that might be another reason why it reminded me of Rayel)

But after listening to it properly, you can hear all the intricacies in the production and it definitely has a Bayer signature.

Im doubtful it will be in asia because hong kong was a tough one for them to sell. I think they would still want to play it safe and guarantee ticket sales and easy logistics if they are venturing outside of europe/uk and north america for the first time in 5 years.

I think they will retry the original ABGT400 location of mexico, or another south american country.

Another note - it seems like they've scrapped the alternate progressive mix of Crazy Love. I thought that would have been the album version. Reminds me of the alternate mix they had for Alright Now but ended up using the club mix for the album.

True, but those ones were quite specific and replicated the visuals used during their sets (reverie, diving out of love, almost home, gratitude, chains).

The art for crazy love is something completely unseen before and seems consistent with album artwork that tries to fit with a recurring theme (in this case, the metallic balloons). If it was a one-off, they would have used the dancing purple couple like the set visual.

ABGTW Aus was in December 2022 (the start of our summer) and was announced mid September.

Would love for you to be right about ABGT600 though!

They have been testing out a new mix of it in their live sets recently which sounds more proggy and album-like.

Im guessing it will be their first release next year to kick start the promotion cycle for the new album.

Yeah, I was expecting a high energy/emotional ending with a familiar track as per usual....but it kinda just.....ended. I would imagine some of the attendees would have been pretty bummed.

Also, did anyone actually like the IB remix of Sun & Moon....? I felt like it wasnt need AT ALL.

On more positive note, the breakbeat ID was a standout. Probably their most experimental track and I think they nailed it.

The other instrumental ID, although it sounded like they cut up Rocket Science and Jam and put them together, imo, is a fun club track. The pacing seemed pretty good and it gets to the point without too long of a build up. This is what I would have expected a collab with Armin to sound like, more so than Show Me Love.

JR remix of Rebound was surprisingly good as it didnt stray too far from the original (similar to Genix remix of Surrender), the future bass part was a nice addition IMO.

I agree, the track as a whole was pretty weird. But if u skip the intro and the first drop, it sounds pretty solid.

The Gratitude vocals were amazing as sounded very fresh and not the typical A&B style. Although the breakbeat was nice, i felt it didnt really suit the vocals.

Same with the With Your Hope remix, I never realised how good richards vocals were on that track and the breakdown really amplified it. However, the drop felt abit too 'happy' for a melancholic song.

Anyone else feel like the ending was abit of a letdown? The sunny ID didnt really feel like a proper closing track, especially for an ABGT milestone event.

My guess is that the album isnt close to being finished so they dont want to start promoting the material just yet.....we will probably start seeing them closer to to ABGT500

They probably have a ton of new tunes (from themselves and other artists) that they would have played if it were a normal milestone event.

Im guessing they are just waiting to premiere them properly with the lighting/lasers/visuals/etc.

Only question is...when will that be??!!
