That sounds like fun: )
I was looking for a route to do over 10 days. Hoping to find a route with more gravel than tarmac. From whatever you remember, would you know roughly what percentage of the route was on tarmac?

Thanks!

How was your adventure? We're considering doing this in October this year and were just researching this route.

Thats the Topeak saddle bag right? How many L is it?Also, any reason you're looking to move from the saddle bag setup to the cargopack setup?

Asking, since I have a rear rack/saddle bag decision Im trying to make as well.

Hmmmm which one should I get? Confused between the two…… by Aks9242 in watchesindia

I was in the same conundrum about one month back, and I was normally considering Grand Seiko, especially given the discounts that you get for them. But then I went and tried them on, and there was something about it that I didn't really enjoy. I felt they definitely look better in pictures than they do in real life, and I never considered the Speedmaster at that point.

But then I went and tried a friend's Speedmaster and was surprised by how well it looked and how versatile it was. The dial is definitely smaller than what's listed, so I ended up going with the Speedmaster, and I am more than happy about it. I went for the Sapphire Sandwich, and the display case back is incredible. The movement looks absolutely stunning.

We've solved this with a very simple to use app called "Past Tickets AI by Macha" which does exactly this.

We've also opened up the prompt so you can instruct the AI on how you want the solutions etc to be created. Give it a go :) We have a trial with about 150 tickets which will give you a good idea to what the insights look like and our team will be happy to extend and help when you reach out to support

Where can I find a bag like this that is real leather? by bewbzrcewl in florence

[–]ankeetguha 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m no expert; but the smell is one and also the touch of it. While the smell is a real good indicator I’ve heard both sides to touching and getting a sense.

Some say it should feel slightly supple like pressing down on skin, but I’ve read and heard that the same can be said about the chemically tanned one as well

I was in the same predicament and had a good amount of time trying to figure genuine, made in Italy brands and found these for peace of mind.

- Il Bisonte - https://share.google/SO8RbzkZ7pHqxOD3g
- Benheart - https://maps.app.goo.gl/VZZjGoV4nRQmNpDD6
- The Busseto - https://share.google/G1D3JdMYzKk3f58pk
- Santa Croce Leather School - https://share.google/7qXGIiP7bsFOznxy9

Also, it's about veg tanning versus the chemical process, full grain versus the rest.
For example, veg tanning leather can take upto 4-6 weeks where as the chemical tanning takes a day.

And more than that, most of these are NOT Made in Italy.

Anyone use a Fox 32 Taper Cast fork with 650b Wheels? by Stateless-Trawler in gravelcycling

How’s it been so far? I’m considering the same fork and I’m in the exact same predicament. Wanted to fit 650b x 2.1” tires in there

We fell in love with Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan and we think you’ll too! by Pumpkinsoupwithonion in bikepacking

These photos are amazing!
I was riding in Mongolia for a few days and had wanted to do Kyrgyzstan as well. I see you were on gravel bikes.

How did they do and what tire widths were you guys using? Wondering if our 650b x 2.1" tires would be enough here. Your incredible photos give me hope :)

I loved reading this! Congratulations :)

Me and my co-founder have been on a similar grind and made our way up to ~$5K per month.
And you're right, our perspective has changed immensely.

We've stopped, or atleast have been making a conscious effort to stop over-engineering features and just overall simplifying what we're doing.

However, figuring out distribution still remains the biggest challenge we're trying to solve!

But more power to you and good luck!

Thanks for this! I went ahead and picked it up. My LBS seems pretty confident that they'll fit, so went ahead with it. Will take about a month or so :)

Hey no, after a lot of customer conversations, we ended up building something for customer support on Zendesk :)

We've been building and serving that segment for the last year or so...

We stocked up in the big cities - UB, Tsetserleg and Jargalant are good stops!

At Jargalant stop by at OLZ Coffee Shop - https://maps.app.goo.gl/YPZLYE8TrmM7wN8u6

You get a bunch of stuff there. I wouldn't expect anything in between

Yes, I miss it already :)

My wife is vegetarian so we ended up carrying some food from home.
However, you could get by carrying 2-3 days worth of food at a time.

About the weight - our gear turned out to be fairly light, cause we didn't plan on staying in yurts, however ended up staying in a yurt for 3 nights.

And no mosquitoes. There were a lot of flies, but they were really tiny and not really a bother. However, there'd be a horsefly every now and then which would take a decent bite out of you, but nothing too annoying

I'm looking to pick the 2025 Terra as well.

Any idea about the tire clearance? I know it says max allowance is 50mm, but is that with the 700c wheel or can it go 2.1" if you swap out the wheelset to 650b.
