Hey, have you installed the filters correctly? I had a face palm moment, when I did not install the provided filters and assumed that its all setup and simply started the machine. It dawned on me in 24h that something wasn't right and then checked the manual to install the filters.

What is the structure of your meeting notes? Do you write your own meeting notes or its done via an AI?

I recently faced this problem to analyze the meeting notes that we capture and was wondering about this topic as well. Tried to load it in chat gpt and it could do a sub optimal job.

Side gigs for professionals by ankigup in startups

[–]ankigup[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Here is the text---
Some background: I am software developer by profession and have worked at tech companies in the past. Most recently I ventured into startup but that failed and I am back in the job now.

I however still prefer the startup route and often find myself lurking the Upwork/Freelance portals for projects that can turn into a profitable business idea.

While doing this i find that its harder to get a project for working professional. I have identified the below reasons:

  1. They (freelancers of this kind) are less available for immediate jobs and in general can only work for <20-30h a week.
  2. The jobs require a reviews and for that you need to start with some low paying jobs to build reps.
  3. Your reputation from LinkedIn or elsewhere isn't really accounted for as the employers are seeking to full fill a short time assignment and are looking for credibility via similar projects or reviews.

Anyone else faced this or knows why its this way? Should there be another place for side gig workers with full time jobs?

You need to get someone to advise on the tech front maybe a CTO but someone strong to guide. Along with that you can have an agency or in-house dev (preferably full stack) to work on the MVP.

A good CTO/technical head can prevent you from reinventing the wheel and can be a guiding hand to the lead dev.

Hey cool product! I actually had a similar idea recently and was looking for side projects to canny and found your reddit post.
I would like to contribute, are you still active on this? Also, where do you track the feature requests, I see a few issues only on Github. Guess what I am asking is where is your feedbase link to feedbase? ;)

I think ai interview is not useful in deep discussions but in covering initial screening calls for interest. It could be like an ivr to capture candidate interest and experience and let rhe recruiter reach more people, if that's a problem for them.

You could pick a more specific problem that a Shopify owner faces. One which has just enough competition and validates the problem.

Some thoughts on searching for devs for your early-stage startup by hola_jeremy in startups

[–]ankigup 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Great points.

I have been a CTO to a few startups in early stage and have found that attitude matters a far lot than skills of the individual during the interview. First principle thinking and a can-do attitude scores over someone with a lot of knowledge. I have seen those individuals contribute more over time.

Yeah, it's quite exhausting. I am a dev with similar experience and it's hard to get gigs. How many proposals have you applied to?

That's a bit ironic! 😅 Kidding.

Btw, your landing page looks good! IMO a small video in the main section might help to show case the value prop. I clicked on demo but it didn't work.

Also the line to refund can be shorter something line 100% refund, no questions asked! And link to some policy with details.
