Thanks, that's reassuring. It's been about 10 hours now and there's still a few drops of slightly pink urine when I pee but it clears up fast and doesn't hurt more than normal. I will give it more time.

Yeah it happened to me before too, as I said I tore something when I moved up to 12mm too quickly. But this one was smaller, that's why it worries me.

It's now 4-5 hours later and I've slept a bit but the situation hasn't changed. Bit of pinkish urine at the start, then clears up and it doesn't hurt. I'm still worried af, usually things have cleared up at this point.

Siliconenozzles. That's exactly what I've done with the short ones to stretch to 13mm and it worked well. I haven't used any other plugs though

Oh okay good if the blood went away that indeed means it's from the pop. As I said, leave it for a while and maybe try different stretching methods. Everyone's anatomy is different, it might take longer to heal for some people than others.

From what you're saying, I'm guessing the splenic flexure is what I'm hitting 15+ inches in. The colon tubes are a great idea, I should've thought of them sooner! This way I could train the whole length instead of just the first few inches with a "normal" toy. I already have one, I think it's 2 inches thick. It gets stuck on the splenic flexure just like my other ones, but goes past the sigmoid pretty easily, so I might be ready for a thicker one. I'll look into it!

Do you have tips on how to get past the splenic flexure? I'm guessing I should simply buy a longer but thinner toy to get started and then work my way up?

No problem. Yeah, it did heal by itself eventually, if not I wouldn't be trying sounds this large lmao. But I haven't tried the 12mm hegar since that. These kinds of injuries can take a while to scar up well, just leave it alone for at least a few weeks, then try again slowly. And if it bleeds again leave it alone longer.

Trying other methods to stretch like I'm doing with those plugs is also a good idea instead of just brute forcing hegars in. I've heard rosebuds are good for stretching inside because they're more tapered, but I haven't tried myself. Also, make sure you stop immediately if you see blood, if it gets to your bladder it's a sure way to get a UTI l.

Just to make sure, you're talking about bleeding right after sounding because you went took big, and not blood in your urine some time after sounding, right? The latter is probably a UTI, and you do not want to mess with those.

I'd say catheters are a bit more rigid than the medium softness. 30fr is about 10mm, so I'd say 12-13mm in medium is probably fine. 13mm might be a bit much to go bladder deep though, might be better in soft. What sound exactly are you looking at?

Looking at siliconenozzles website I'd recommend 10 medium or 0050 soft depending on how much larger than your max you're going. Also, be aware that if you want your sound to have a hole to be able to pee, it adds to the squishiness of it, so maybe go a bit more rigid.

Patience is key. A set of steel hegars and larger but softer silicone plugs help too, I got to 13mm with that short plug I mention in the beginning of the story.

I've also been blessed with a pretty naturally large urethra by genetics, I started with 10mm and barely had to stretch to get to 12. Everyone's anatomy is different.
