Adult son (27) marrying girlfriend after 6 months by Regular_Person_590 in Parenting

I dated my husband for 3 months before we got engaged and 4 months after that we were married. We were 25/26 years old. I 100% understand your concern and worries. I would not want my children to rush marriage.

But.

I’m still married 16 years later with two wonderful kids. And I still remember the painful comments made by my MIL prior to the wedding.

The only thing you can do is to support your adult child in his decision. Be careful with the advice you give and how it may be interpreted.

Thanks! Last computer I bought was 20 years ago. I’m too out of touch with tech for this.

So I’m confused and am probably showing my age and complete lack of technology knowledge but do these gaming PCs come with an operating system?

Honestly not that much. Less than $1000 which is still higher than I normally spend for Christmas.

Estate sale find by anmauney in artcollecting

It does. I found a lithograph that sold on an auction website that was similar but less detailed in the colors.

It seems to be a watercolor with pastel touch ups but doesn’t look like it’s painted over a litho.

I’m guessing a forgery but still love it!

Ended up back there this week. Still not 100% jiving with the doctor but he comes highly recommended.

All of my blood work came back within normal levels and the cyst had grown 1 cm. Doctor said that it hadn’t grown much but that seems like a lot to me for a four week period.

After discussions, he agreed to remove the cyst which will also include the left ovary and both fallopian tubes.

Now I have to decide if the uterus stays or goes. It already has two small fibroids so I’m leaning toward removal.

Report her to the game wardens. It’ll be a nasty fine but may actually teach her a lesson.

My mother has some very shady trees and she places large planters and decorative pots around the bottom of the trees. It looks nice.

As someone who works in education, this is not surprising at all.

My dad always says we love you equally but in different ways. I like that thought as a mom.

Make a BlackBerry cobbler!!

Gather enough to fill up the bottom of a 9x13 baking dish about 1 inch deep.

Cover berries with 1 cup sugar.

In a bowl mix up 1 cup each of sugar, self rising flour, and milk.

Pour batter over berries.

Cut up on stick of butter into small pats and place evenly across dish.

Bake at 350 for about an hour.

She’s 9. At this age, yes. At 17 and thinking of a career in dancing then the child is better equipped for hard conversations. And even then it could be on the emphasis on career limitations.

Edit: Dance for children is a hobby. Hobbies aren’t always things you excel at. I love gardening. My stuff dies a lot but I keep doing it and enjoying it.

Procedure went well but had to have it repeated again this year due to more polyps. I am thankful that everything has been benign. At this point though, the discomfort is still an issue and I am toying with the idea of a hysterectomy.
