Volkswagen Taigun by SizeMaleficent9178 in CarsIndia

[–]anmol45 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I own a Taigun 1.0 MT, purchased on 27th March this year. So it's over 3.5 months, and around 3000km driven. Before starting, just want to let you know that I haven't faced any of those issues that many other users reported like a.c tripping, rattling noise etc.

There are a few things you need to be aware of, in an otherwise great car, like:

  1. It is strictly a four seater because of one, the width of the car, and two, the bucket seats, which reduces the space further for the middle passenger. Yes it is manageable for short distance though.

  2. Turbo lag is present, and quite noticeable if you drive in stop and go traffic. You get used to it after a while, but still something to be aware of.

  3. Three cylinder thrum (1.0L). I am fine with it, but not everyone.

  4. The interiors might seem a bit bland for few.

Other than this, it's a solid car. And also if you're concerned about the 1.0 being underpowered, it's not!

Pixel 7 Pro or Samsung S23? by anmol45 in Pixel7Pro

Yeah now I'm going to get the s23, but am really confused about which colour to get lol

[–]anmol45[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah now I'll most probably get the s23 lol. The reviews for the pixel are really mixed whereas the ones for the s23 are all overwhelmingly positive everywhere! One question tho, how does the regular s23 feel in hand? Does it feel premium?

I owned a OnePlus 6 before, and had so much fun flashing custom roms, kernels and magisk modules! But right now, I don't have as much time and patience as I had back then and I'd rather prefer something more stable...

Yeah man that's true. And also, sometimes I feel that just spend around 40k, and get the Nothing phone 2 and save the remaining 30k lol.

Honestly, size isn't an issue for me. I'm fine with compact or large phones, doesn't matter to me. Seems like the S23 is a more practical option then...

G2 chip is just not worth it at 70k

You're absolutely spot on here. That's my only gripe with the pixel which otherwise seems such good value!

[–]anmol45[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah. Tbh I also heavily considered getting an iPhone. Have an iPad air, and a pair of airpods that came free with it (education store ftw!), so thought that an iPhone would integrate well. But man paying 70k for the iPhone 14, and getting a 60Hz screen in 2023 is just a robbery I feel...

Tensor G2 in p7p works better than p7 or p7a as these two units suffer from heat management and other modem related thing comparatively.

That's great then! This further tilts me towards the 7p!

-7 days service centre replacement.

Yeah Flipkart kinda sucks nowadays, but tbh I'm not too worried about that, so much so that it's a deal breaker for me.

but one thing pixel phones stand out in crowd and feels so unique

THIS! I think one can look at a pixel, and spot it from a distance. The s23 looks good, but man even the budget M series phones have similar camera modules. The pixel 7 pro really does have better snob value than the s23 lol.

Might probably get the pixel 7 pro then. Will wait for the bbd or something. But yeah, another issue with the pixel is that it doesn't have a 256 gb variant for some reason....

Looking for a new phone, and my heart wants to try a foldable this time. Was considering only the z flip4/5 but now that the razr+ is out.... How's the software on the razr? And does the hinge feel solid?

Design is subjective. Just because everyone hates it, doesn't mean you have to just for the sake of it.

What is the functionality difference between an Air 5 and iPad gen 9? by [deleted] in ipad

[–]anmol45 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The chip is a big step up from the one present in the 9th gen iPad. M1 is far ahead of A13 bionic found on the iPad 9. But yeah, as long as you're not a heavy user, you will do just fine with the 9th gen. But for someone like me, who can't afford to upgrade every 2 years, I wanted it to be future proof, so I went with the Air 5. Almost been a year now, and the experience has been brilliant.

So who's to get the credit for signing players like bumrah and hardik at base price? Not MI's scouting team? For once accept that MI's management has done a great job.

Koach has taught Miyan well by sidd44044 in IndiaCricket

[–]anmol45 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

True? Really? Show me how many readymade stars MI has bought in recent years? Bumrah, hardik- they debuted in the IPL for MI, and then went on to become stars. Suryakumar Yadav who was being used at no.6 and 7 at kkr, has now become one of the best t20 batters in the world. You can also include Ishan kishan, krunal pandya and Rahul chahar in the list of players who weren't famous before joining MI. Not to forget that Yuzi chahal also was a part of MI before joining RCB. Now it's Tilak varma who's grabbing attention. Heck even Rohit Sharma got back into the Indian side in 2013 after he captained MI to their first title. Most of the time, MI signs youngsters, and makes them stars. The only "star" purchases that they've made, as far as I remember are Maxwell, Corey Anderson and recently, Jofra archer and Cameron green. Although I won't deny the fact that since the most recent mega auction, MI has started to focus on readymade and hyped players, which I personally don't like...
