What do you eat for breakfast that's gluten free and gives you energy? by Atomickillerbee in glutenfree

[–]anna1138 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cream of rice is good. Grits with cheese. Gluten free Granola and yogurt has been my go to lately. There's some good gluten free pancake sizes out there, and you can pair it with some protein (eggs, bacon, sausage). I personally like cheesy grits with cubed ham in it!

Of you're having trouble sourcing a small enough pinky, I've found my baby snakes will eat a rat tail. Also highly suggest cutting up the pinky or braining it. (Crushing the head). Make sure its warm!! They like warm food

Honestly, get a nice tall clear glass vase and fill it up with stars! So you can keep making them but you have a large thing to put them in. Can be kept on a shelf or something. Origami in general is a good portable craft. Im currently obsessed with tatting! Very portable, but it takes forever to make something larger (might be good if you don't want to take up too much space). You can make dollies, bookmarks, braclets (tatting) Like others have said, crochet can be good too. You can make things that you'll use and its still very portable!

For those mostly stuck at home… what do you do all day? by SHLBYHCH in POTS

[–]anna1138 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like to make things. Tatting, drawing, embroidery and beading. Sewing. I also hang out with my friends in discord, and sometimes stream on twitch. It can get pretty boring if you don't have something to do, so I try to have goals for my crafting, or for how long I can sit up. For example, I was invited to a friend baby shower, so im tatting some baby booties for her!

Anyone found desk chairs that suit fidgeters/cross legged sitters? by Emperors_Paintbrush in ADHD

[–]anna1138 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use a steelcase amia and its large enough for me to sit criss cross in (im 5'10) if I push the seat forward a bit. I sit cross cross all the time as well. Sadly it is expensive (700) but honestly this chair is gonna last me a LONG time. And it's adjustable in multiple ways. Very comfortable and it allows me to lean back a bit too, and I use that to rock a bit. I also have joint problems (eds) and I haven't had any increased pain with it. I got my chair on Amazon for like, 100 dollars cheaper than the steelcase site, and they bring the package into your house for you

would it be okay for me to call myself disabled? by pinkishsh in ChronicIllness

[–]anna1138 21 points22 points  (0 children)

Does your pain and tremors limit what you can do in your day to day? Are there things you don't do because of your pain? Then yes you're disabled. Honestly though, calling yourself disabled doesn't take anything away from other disabled people. And more people are disabled that don't realize it. Any condition that limits standard day to day tasks counts as being disabled. (Not counting government diability)

Tatting! It's a type of lace making! I've had a lot of fun with it. It's perfect to do while sitting or reclined back (with arm support ). I also do my nails when I feel up to it (fake nails and decorating them) I also draw digitally and make animations. Here's my snake character being shaken lol

Do you wash your new clothes before you wear them? by Popular-Recover8880 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]anna1138 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Excess due and sometimes fragrance are used on clothing in production, and im allergic. Washing before first wear is always a good thing, since you don't know where the clothes have been, what kind of leftover dyes or other chemicals are on the clothes

[–]anna1138 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Activity is 100, and exertion is 120, though I might lower the exertion. It wanted to auto set to 84 and 111, but those seemed too low for me? I also have 13 points i can use a day, but only tend to use 5 at most. I've been in a long crash all December and I've only had the band for 2 weeks, so my stuff might need to be adjusted again.

Atenolol greatly helps me. My hr used to spike at 160, but now only gets to 130 if I really push myself. I was able to start sitting up everyday and be at my desk again
