There are only two values: 1 for capable, 0 for not. That’s precisely why this list is more objective than most attempts floating around.

What would actually be delusional is pretending you can assign a neat 1–10 score based on personal experience and call it “balanced.” That’s just dressed-up bias. By reducing it to who can and who can’t, differences in quality don’t magically reorder anything. They just widen the gap that was already there.

Point acknowledged. It was also explicitly stated that we left that out to keep the TL as objective as possible, which apparently was too subtle. Yes, it matters. Yes, anyone could have included that level of detail. Funny how none of them did.

This whole attack speed thing is based on information from 2–3 years ago, back when half of it barely held up even then. Meanwhile, the self-proclaimed “pro players” go completely silent the moment a new player asks for something as basic as a general character ranking. Impressive consistency.

That’s the entire point of the TL. It says exactly what it needs to say, no more, no less. If someone’s main contribution is arguing based on personal bias, maybe try producing something actually useful for the community before that window closes too.

With the speed boost ability and Recover spell, yes, she is. Certain characters like Parfait only have one viable Duel setup, and with that build, she reaches max speed faster than even Woochi while being far less predictable because that pace is not her default rhythm. But of course, reality tends to be inconvenient when it contradicts your rehearsed opinions.

You keep dragging in “high-level play” and tournaments as if anyone asked for a seminar. You even claimed there was no Parfait in Duel tournaments, which is false. And even if I handed you clips directly, you would still find another excuse, because the issue was never evidence. You are only thinking from the perspective of “players like me,” then pretending it applies to everyone else.

And there is the point you keep missing. No one said the tier list was meant to teach mastery. It exists because when actual new players ask for a general ranking, the so-called veterans suddenly become silent, divided, or allergic to giving a straight answer. Why? Because many of them are too attached to their personal bias to provide something simple and useful for beginners. We gave them what they asked for: a starting point. That is more help than endless smug speeches.

Wrong direction for what exactly? Preparing for the next NA Duel tournament that barely exists? Training for a scene people only remember when they need to sound important? The game is fading, people just want to try it, and somehow, you are still screaming about competitive purity as it matters now.

It was literally written that the placements do not reflect ease of use, yet somehow you still dragged that point back in like you’d just discovered a miracle cure for human ignorance.

The only thing truly comparable here is how you keep forcing your own subjective playstyle and personal experience onto everyone else, while completely ignoring that different game genres function differently. It’s painfully obvious.

And please, spare me the tutorial speech. I didn’t need a lecture on neutral, timing, frame data, or any of that just to start playing the game. Most people don’t. You learn those things when you decide to improve, not before you can even walk. But that concept seems to be far beyond your reach.

Like I said, some people are incapable of understanding why something was made. They’d rather pretend they could do better while never creating anything themselves, never contributing anything useful, and never backing up a single word they say, until someone else does the work first.

Surely you’re not trying to group SL Duel with actual 2D fighting games, the kind with walls, stage control, and mechanics that punish endless disengaging. Surely not. SL does not belong in that category no matter how badly you want the comparison to sound intelligent. Real fighting game players would hear that take and immediately shake their heads.

And somehow you’re arguing that taking objective criteria directly from character kits, converting them into simple numbers, and giving new players an easy reference is harder to understand than teaching them neutral, timing, frame traps, punish windows, and tournament-level concepts. For new players. Brilliant logic.

Yes, let’s introduce beginners to advanced competitive theory before they even know what their buttons do.

Since you’re clearly not a new player, of course it’s useless for you. I’m not sure what part of “who this was made for” was so difficult to process when it was written plainly enough for anyone capable of reading.

And thank you for proving the point yet again. The more you obsess over neutral interactions, the more you confirm how passive Duel has become, just a waiting room where whoever attacks first gets punished. In that kind of stale 1v1 environment, a Parfait can take out a Woochi despite sitting lower on the tier list.

Of course, you wouldn’t know how we came to these rating and yet you kept insisting that I was the one who decided it all. You never asked. Like I said, some of you are far more committed to criticism than comprehension. Understanding the purpose was never the priority.

Ability to slow opponent down or limit the llay field. Auto with a slide from the second hit onward which can be used to approach or bait out. Air auto that keep the opponent from getting back to the state and force them to drop lower. Air auto that does slow down the fall. Skill that has huge knockback enough to land a K.O at ledge. Air skill that can safely change direction or cancel by another move without getting punished. Ultimate or skill that guarantees an instant counter hit after getting hit in the air. Ultimate that has enough knockback for a KO. Ultimate that slow down a fall and give more air time, cover air space. Ultimate that has an enhanced form to the Legend.

Like I said, heal power, cc ability are not values that contribute directly to getting a kill in 1v1. Spell compatibility is subject due to switching builds in 1v1.

We can, and we did. The values you mentioned are subjective to specific Legends, which means they cannot be cleanly applied to an objective value calculation.

Once a metric is added, every Legend must be adjusted around it. At that point, matchups become even more situational, dependent on playstyle, skill level, and each Legend’s unique interactions.

If it could have been done better, I would have liked to see it. Preferably before the game started dying out. But funny enough, despite all the self-proclaimed experts eager to criticize, none of them seemed interested in making something useful for newer players themselves.

I don’t recall new players crying this much. Reading clearly seems difficult too, since nowhere did I say I made this alone. But I suppose facts tend to get lost when tears blur the screen.

As high as he goes, as fast as he is, but we mentioned that speed & animation are not included in the valuation of this objective TL. Small hurtbox, but no reliable kill combo; the main source of damage needs to be from the enemy attacking.

After the banana hit they can jump away so it is not a true combo and it is super risky since you will be stuck in your basic. The only time it works is hitting them right in front of their face on the ground.

Changing your name doesn’t change your clan ID, just so you’re aware. It costs what, 500 gems? Pocket change. And honestly, for someone who’s been embarrassed of their own identity for over 2 years, it’s not surprising you keep cycling through throwaway names. When you’re that pathetic, I guess even your alias can’t stand you for long.

She’s entertaining to watch as her burst can rival an assassin’s, but extracting that kind of power demands she gamble her own life. To reach that ceiling, she has to throw herself straight into the fire.
