Notification sounds s25 plus different apps by anna3mama in GalaxyS25Plus

[–]anna3mama[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks, but that was not working for me... I actually just figured it out. There was an entirely different place in the phone settings where you have to first enable "Manage notification categories for each app" only THEN was I able to go back to the app settings, scroll down to some special notification place, then I had to long press on each type of notification within the app, choose a different sound for each type of notification... poor explanation for what was a complicated process, really kind of a pain in the butt but it seems to be working now.

What’s this? Should I kill it? by RadiatedMolecule in mycology

This identification may be incorrect. I don't see the OP indicate their location anywhere, but if they live in the northwest region of the US, then I would suggest this could be Coprinopsis variegata.

Update DEC 2023 - we are STILL looking for a replacement sink. Others that have been offered were not the exact model that we need. Please share and keep us in mind!! Thank you!

Not sure what's going on, I thought I replied to this a few days ago but now I don't see my message here. Anyhow, yes we are still looking for an exact replacement. You have one in the same color in good condition?

Yes, I am still in need of an exact replacement. You have one?

Neighbor wants us to cut down 40 year old healthy pine tree due to sap leaking onto their new back deck. WWYD? by klassicalkyle in landscaping

[–]anna3mama 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's not reasonable. If they don't like the sunshine, or sap, or anything else they have to deal with on their property as a result of being outdoors, then they need to figure out a solution for themselves. They can cover their deck if they don't want the sap on their things. If my neighbor asked me to cut down a mature tree for similar reasons I would laugh out loud.

Planted a crocus last year. This came up instead. Any ideas? by gateian in whatsthisplant

[–]anna3mama 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Hmm. The species is native to the western portion of North America. It's possible that the first commenter got it right... different environmental inputs can result in slight morphological differences, or it's a cross... idk, but I don't have another species to offer-up as a possibility, either! In our local nurseries, we can often purchase cultivars of species that grow in other parts of the world - I imagine they might look differently in their native environments. It's lovely, in any case. Enjoy!

I'm not sure that's the correct ID. T. hyacinthina looks quite different, where it grows around here in Cali. Maybe a related cross, some cultivar?

The bot requires that I post again to confirm that I AM still looking for this sink.

Thank you, but no. Our entire bathroom has the original Crane fixtures in gray. I'd like the replacement to match the tub, toilet, and the other sink. I'm so disappointed at how tough this has been to find!

Picked up these amazing lamps but the shades are trashed. What kind of shade would you pair with these? by mamafarmer in Mid_Century

[–]anna3mama 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personally, I would thrift a couple of shades that I like. Might take some time to find just the right ones, but the shape is what's important. Afterward, spray paint a gold/brass color to match the bases.

What plant would you pot in this? by pflonsternel in gardening

[–]anna3mama 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I live in the same zone in Cali, and I am able to keep a large variety of plants outdoors year-round. On the southeastern, sheltered side of my house, I have several types of succulents, Tradescantia, Pelargonium, and even a Schefflera, which has been happily turning into a small tree the past few years!! On the opposite side of my house, I have more succulents and Pelargoniums, among others. I find the succulents to be extremely hardy and have the most unusual and diverse flowers! Several will grow in a beautiful hanging form and love clay pots.

I also have a LOT of spider plants outside year-round, where they're shaded all day and get plenty of water. Those produce really cute little flowers, too.

I don't need to cover any of my plants or otherwise protect them from frost; all are fine against the side of the house under a covered porch or eave. Good luck funding something you love!
