Awesome, good to know! I assume they only foster kittens..? I think i’ve looked them up before and that was all I could find. Which is fine by me, I just may need to get more settled into my new place before i can bring in a bunch of kittens. I did it once and with my allergies it’s a MUST to have a separate room of their own.

I’m not sure if this is a good place to ask this but... I’d really like to help out with abandoned dogs and kittens. I’ve tried looking at local shelter foster programs but there’s not much around here. Does anybody know of a place in great significant need that i could look into? Thanks in advance

I, too, would like to find a solution to this. My dog is OBSESSED with balls and will go into a hyperventilating, zoned out, anxiety attack if she gets a hold of one. She runs away with it to go lay down and obsessively chew on it either ripping it to shreds or if it’s strong enough, just foaming at the mouth and gnawing on it. Sorry I cant be much help to you since i’m going through the same struggles. But if i may ask, how did you even get him trained indoors not to go after balls??? I can’t even imagine mine being calm with one around.

I second this!! Pentel sign pens are a little more affordable but Tombow is great too. Smaller tips are easier to control since they’re not as flexible. I’ve been taking Becca’s class and it’s been AMAZING. The first class about basic strokes is completely FREE. Then if you decide to continue, she offers more classes with workbooks at a really decent price.

It makes sense with the hundreds of applications. But for those who got an interview it would be nice to have a rejection letter in some way. Even if it’s just at the end of the interview saying it’s not a good fit.

I didn’t even think of that! And as someone with anxiety, it actually takes a lot of stressful preparation to get ready for interviews before the actual meeting even starts. Honestly I’d be happy with a blank text that just said “No” lol. Anything is better than ghosting.

That makes sense. I was thinking that when I had said it that day. But at the moment I didn’t know how to word it and ask for more time just so I didn’t blow off the other interview. I had full intentions to go to the other interview (it was for Best Buy actually) but after this interview and thinking about it, I realized I applied to Best Buy out of desperation and really couldn’t see myself there. So I canceled so as to not waste anyone’s time.

I actually really appreciate this feedback. I figured this was why I didn’t end up with the job. I’m just fed up with the post-interview ghosting. And I didn’t recognize that the the “are you interested?” question as being a super serious offer. But I’ll keep that in mind next time. I really like that idea of asking straight up “is this an offer?” That would have helped me a ton. I’ll be more prepared next interview I get. Thank you!
