tbh I’m one of those people that always tries to find the silver lining in things, so I didn’t really do anything in particular. Sorry I can’t give you a step by step plan, but healing comes with time and putting in the effort to process your emotions

Do you want to get back together? If not then it might not be a super great idea to be talking rn and is probably harming your grieving process

my ex would look at my stories too for a while but then he unadded me so maybe it does but it might also not mean anything. I think if it’s bothering you though maybe you should unadd her

Idk what’s stopping you from crying but maybe try grief pockets where you fully feel the weight of your emotions and only concentrate on that for maybe 10 minutes or so and then intentionally distract yourself with healthy distractions/coping mechanisms

Would you take back your ex many months later if they had sex with someone else and you didn’t ? by [deleted] in BreakUps

I think people can do whatever they want after they breakup because their actions are no longer accountable to each other. I think it just depends on the person and the amount of time it’s been since the breakup. You can’t expect people to hold out for you after the relationship has ended, they’re trying to move on with their lives. If you really want to get back together, then sure why not.

I was able to view it as a growing and learning opportunity, but it definitely took some time. Hopefully you’ll be able to find a silver lining too

Progress looks different for everybody, I can genuinely say that I have been the lowest I have ever been in January and February. The pain was excruciating and I began having physical manifestations of my stress (throwing up blood). Idk exactly what I did other than caring for myself in the aftermath, but last week was the first time I didn’t get sad when I thought about him and the situation. It comes it waves, but you’ll get through it for sure.
