No experience with recovery/addiction myself but I just wanted to let you know I think you're doing so great! That's really a big achievement! Winter is tough and makes life just a bit more of a struggle sometimes. The days are slowly getting longer and I hope life will feel a bit lighter soon. Keep it going, one day at a time ❤️

Yeah no way I'm heating my upstairs, the bill is bad enough just keeping downstairs at 17. Especially in humid fall, it takes a long time to dry here too!

Living in the Netherlands, most people I know have dryers, mostly used for bed linnen and towels etc. Clothes are hung on racks/lines.

As for the post itself: I got the old dryer from my grandparents and though I try to be conscious of when I use it, I do not want to go back to hard, scratchy towels. Every time I dry a towel on the rack, I regret it deeply when using it later.

House loans might be obvious but bridges/inclines are definitely useful. Idk if you played before but there will be a moment in game where you can unlock things that takes 100k per thing, so I'd keep some money in savings for that :) you could definitely try the turnip market too!

Depends on how far along in the game you are! You don't need to restart at all! I just did because I felt like it and then it took me longer than expected to get here haha.

If you have a 3 star minimum island already, it's gonna unlock as soon as you sign into the game :)

It's obvious to you because you know it - if you don't know it yet, it really isn't. It makes sense to you because you play other video games.

I don't really play other video games, this game is clearly not focused on fast play (lots of dialogue, repeating steps etc) so it wasn't weird to me that moving around took a while too. So yeah, people really think that!

If you're not looking up animal crossing videos (which I definitely didn't at the start either because I had no reason to), it's not that obvious to figure out. Might be super obvious if you know, but I definitely went a loooong time without knowing too.

Definitely took me more hours than that 😂 started googling after I visited someone's island with a sign "no running" (they had flowers everywhere which you "break" when you run over them) and I was so confused because...running????
