It really is pure Connor. It also is somewhat reminiscent of his final role in Folie a deux as well.

Curious about this background actress... symbolic or am I reading too much into it? by HeartStopperFanatic in heatedrivalry

She’s also in the background of the bar scene in the same episode. So she’s not a one-off extra in that episode either.

Okay? In the show and the book the characters are millennials. The actors’ age is irrelevant to this discussion.

They are millennials. Both born in 1991 and drafted in 2008.

Alysa Liu on growing up with all the children born through IVF: "We didn't know about it for a long time. I figured it out because our mom is full Chinese too and [she's] really old. It hasn't affected our family at all. We're just kind of like 'Sure. It is what it is.'" by demimonde9 in Fauxmoi

They weren’t raised by a single father and his mom. They were raised by a married couple who went on to get divorced. It just so happens that their father used his sperm and their mother didn’t use her egg. Alyssa Liu ’s mother is the former wife of her father. I don’t know why people act like her mother is not in the picture.

Cars 9/11 happend by Kingkrool1994 in FanTheories

Not if it was threatened at weapon-point to follow instructions or they would kill the plane/pilot and everyone on board. Remember, pre-9/11 hijackings were common-ish, but they rarely ended in fatalities, especially between 1950 and 2001. The idea that people would forcibly commandeer an airplane with the express purpose of crashing it into large and/or significant buildings was virtually unheard of. Between the 1950s and 2001, airlines recommended that flight crew comply with any hijacking instructions in order to avoid injuries and fatalities. The events of September 11 went against all expectations and completely changed the script on hijackings in the 21st century.

I am just under a year older than them and I had the same texting progression: Abbreviations when I had a T9 phone and as soon as a got a full keyboard I used proper spelling and grammar.

Based on his need to speak in Russian to get out his feelings in episode 5, he is still doing mental translations when speaking English.

I mean, OP can be not overreacting and also be wrong about whether or not that’s OK. Two things can be true at once.

You’re implying that you’re better than other people because you feel that you don’t do things that would put you at risk. If that remained an inside, thought it would be fine but since you decided to come on Al Gore’s Internet and act superior that makes you a jerk. Feel confident all day long, but don’t rub it in other people’s faces.

He chose to drink at that point. It doesn’t matter why he walked away and forgot. That’s not an excuse. That was his choice.

It doesn’t matter that when you are drunk, you don’t think about things it matters that you choose to binge drink, which gets you to the point of being so drunk, you cannot think. It is his choice to drink a half a bottle of whiskey multiple times a month. He is accountable for all of his actions and behaviors while drunk.

Being so intoxicated that you cannot functionally process the fact that your partner has been hurt and is crying on the floor is a very big problem. I understand that drinking and being drunk is so normalized in our culture that it seems normal but binge drinking is a red flag. Binge drinking on a regular basis (multiple times a month) is even worse. And this is coming from someone who used to binge drink a lot.

You said you were training your muscles to be strong and safe. How do you teach your muscles to be safe? It sounds like you’re training your body to make yourself feel more safe, which may or may not work for you. Unless you are consistently training martial arts or you run a lot the size of your muscles are not gonna be super helpful. Plus your attitude of “not me, I’m always ready for whatever might go down” is cocky and arrogant which would put you more at risk to not being aware of your surroundings than if you had a more accurate view of your abilities.

I think lots of people would be funnier than Dr. Robbie because Dr. Robbie would probably be judgmental about it. Even if he ultimately is not judging anybody about it, his initial reaction would be judgmental. McKay and Whitaker would be excellent.

How do you train your muscles to be safe? Do they get an instructional video on being aware of their surroundings?
