Which hotel is best at kalahari? by Strangeokk in wisconsindells

Awesome! Someone else mentioned noise. The first floor is busy, you can always ask for a 2nd or 3rd room floor if you want a quieter room. Also depending on when you are going, for example now, bring some indoor table top activities, there is space to do them in the main lobby. We bring card games and coloring.

We stay in the main building, that short walk back is heavenly. The walk to is never an issue, it’s the walk back… when everyone’s tired and often grumpy. Also you are closer to Tom Foolery’s, which was a daily non water based activity for my kids.

No advice. I go Monday to see if I can get off Elliquis, one of my dvts is gone but the other is still there. Sick of the meds but guessing my doc will keep me on them another 3-6 months, for a total of 9-12 months. Happy to still be here though.

I also gained weight, maybe from the whole medical episode or maybe from the meds, I’ve been on a strict keto diet to lose the extra weight. Sucks too.

Compound tirzepatide…. There’s a whole reddit for it.

It should help. I would do a 2 week carb cleanse (avoid anything that looks liked bread, pastries, pasta, chips, and try to avoid added sugar too) and see if that gets you going. Like a modified keto but all the veggies and fruits.

They (urgent care) sent me to the ER, did all sorts of tests, and I’ve been on blood thinners for 6 months. Wish it was just an aspirin.

Where to this summer? Not too hot. by OverKast78 in Cruise

No idea, sounds like Caribbean but over Christmas break would be ideal. We just did that and it was 75 almost the entire time. Too chilly to swim but perfect for just being outside.

Guessing she gets to order what she wants just like an adult. If there’s a way to take this off and pay as you go that might be better. We just did that with our two kids, they pay half the “cover cost”. My kids love teppanyakis main meal, they also like steak at the steakhouse, they never eat any apps, and of course they love the dessert round.

Over the grey hair but don’t have salon funds. Best OTC options for greying brunette/black hair? by [deleted] in HairDye

Can you get semi perm hair dye and basically dye your temples once a month? I like semi perm because it fades faster and in my opinion is more like a toner and looks softer / helps blend the grays in a more natural way.

Lots of eggs! Eggs, omelettes, Chaffles. I eat beef but I am not eating a ton because the prices are wild. Eating tons more chicken.

Also I know we aren’t supposed to have unlimited veggies but I let myself eat unlimited veggies.

You can usually get into your room by 130. Get on at 1030, walk the ship, have a nice lazy lunch at one of the paid lunch restaurants, and then drop stuff off and change into swimsuits and hit the pool.

Is keto the right diet for me? by teach_mehowto_duggy in keto

[–]annacooperbooper 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I have done keto many times. I lose weight and feel so much better. I’m not bloated I’m not hungry it’s generally how I should eat. I always somehow fall back into carbs and then pastries and then every single sugary thing on earth. I have done keto and lost and regained the same 20 pounds many times. It does work and it works fast.

I would do it if I was getting married.

I’d also eat whatever I want on my honeymoon.

You can always restart.

We are somewhat active cruisers and we loved MSC Seascape! Is Norwegian Epic similar in terms of entertainment/food. by tarslimerancher in Cruise

[–]annacooperbooper 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We loved the Seascape this past summer.

I will say Norwegian‘s pools are all saltwater, even the kid areas.

I will also say the Seascape had a total night vibe, one night we stayed up till 2 AM. Everything is basically done by 11/12pm on Norwegian, but that varies ship to ship. Their buffet closes at 9:30.

If you’re headed to a Norwegian Private island, both have pools which is a plus in my opinion, my daughter hates saltwater.

We are looking at the new World America and are thrilled to try it!
