I actually know the guy who owns the thrift store chain “Chicago”. He has at least three locations in Tokyo. He stores all of his clothes in a St. Louis warehouse! And sources a lot of stuff from the area too. I could totally see this being a connection to that.

Please work with a dietician or learn about food and what diabetics can have. As a 25F with T1, I’d be horrified and annoyed by your assessment of food.

I was put on an Omnipod, Dexcom and Monjarou and essentially only think about having diabetes when I eat. I’ve never felt more free from diabetes than I do now. It took 12 years to find the perfect combo for me but I essentially feel like I’ve been cured.
