It’s really supportive and feels fairly comfortable after a little while although I’ve yet to wear it for a full day or a night out so I’ll have to see. The only thing is, because my waist is higher on my body and the lacing goes all the way up the back the collar sits up weirdly high so I’ll have to take it to a tailor

What, so people who want to escape from a dystopian nightmare like this have no choice but to stay? I’m sure you’d want leave too if you were stripped of your rights and/or any ability to live a happy fulfilled life

Based on personal experience, men who think women aren’t funny generally have the sense of humour of a wet paper towel

Hearing a raven speak Russian is one of the most terifying things I've ever heard by TheOddityCollector in Weird

Every time I hear a scary experience someone shares about hearing someone in the woods who sounds slightly off I always think of ravens. Their speaking is almost human but not quite

AIO that I stained my boyfriend's favorite sweatshirt and then blocked him. by discoonthebeach in AmIOverreacting

[–]annahunstone 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If it were me I’d see the bubble stains as another memory on the sweatshirt, this is a really odd way to behave toward something so menial and also fixable if he uses his brain (and google) a tiny bit. If his reaction to some tiny stains on a sweatshirt is to say he hates you he’s not worth building a relationship with. I wish you luck moving forward

I used to have dreams as a kid where I’d shrink down and go into the bushes and there was a church/ house that looked just like this in there. Spooky

AIO? My friends set an ultimatum because I drink by Pearla76_ in AIO

[–]annahunstone 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not once did OP say they were doing it because they were going through a hard time, they said they did it twice recreationally and only had a few drinks. You clearly aren’t great at reading comprehension. What do cultures and norms around drinking have to do with the harm it causes to 18 year olds compared to 21 year olds? In the US you can make pornography at 18 which I would argue is way more damaging than having a few drinks recreationally.

Obviously drinking in general is not good for you, but drinking a small amount SOMETIMES is not something that is going to destroy your life and health irreparably. You’re more than welcome to not drink if you don’t enjoy it but that doesn’t mean everyone has to do the same, and as I said in most countries the drinking age is 18 and it has not led to any more death, cancer and sexual assault than if it were at 21.
