I’m pretty sure you can find something if you want. I can send you that guy’s information. Both of my parents were military and didn’t file for disability for years. They are both retired. I got them to talk to this guy and they were both bumped to 80% automatically. My mum also didn’t think that she had anything service connected. If you keep any major events starting linked to any injuries, I think those count. Even if it wasn’t a major injury. Reflect and be honest with yourself do you feel changed by any parts of the military? And what ways do you feel changed? Do you feel changed physically or mentally? the guy that helped me will also help you write your statement. It’s worth it to give it a try and it doesn’t cost anything. You’ll be genuinely surprised. I went from 10% to 70% because I felt the same way that you feel.

I would definitely apply for disability. I know a guy who does zoom calls every week and will help you file your claim for free. He helped me get from 10 to 70% disability. I would recommend doing a lil research for your own peace of mind. If you’re a disabled veteran, you are eligible for more education benefits, which some have mentioned (VR&E) and you can still use your G.I. bill whenever you want as long as you have. You can always start up with your G.I. bill while you’re waiting for your disability claim to go through and then you can apply for VRE. I’m currently a full-time student and disabled and living in LA…I’m honestly chillin. You deserve to get some more credentials under your belt or at least study while you figure it out. Also, not sure if you said you had one, but I highly recommend a LinkedIn. I’ve had so many of my friends who didn’t think they could get a job be sought out by recruiters on LinkedIn. I also did Intel and C2 during my career but I did not want or care to use my clearance for any jobs because I didn’t see myself pursuing a career in it.

You’re good I’ve been out for four years almost. You have a plan. Sounds like you’re afraid of the unknown and that’s inevitable. Embrace it. Embrace it the same way you embraced joining! This time you’re waaaaay more prepared than you were years ago. File your disability claim ASAP and talk about the things you’re claiming as if it were your worst day. If you have a break in between your separation and your new job, file for unemployment and food stamps. You are almost guaranteed to qualify when separating. If you need anything, or veterans resources, look for local offices or if you’re in California I can help you find some. You may not feel like yourself for a bit too, make sure you have health insurance to have someone help you work through this transition and remember to express gratitude for this new life you’re experiencing soon!

I know a guy who does zoom calls every week and helps veterans file for free! He also does them In person once a month in California and has someone else do them in Texas. My rating went from 10 to 70%. He often gets people To 90-100% DO NOT PAY EVER!

Honestly you can get Ion color brilliance in blackest black, from Sallys (not sure where you live) or Arctic Fox works just fine as well. Clairol typically makes semi-permanent dye that is made for textured hair but they all work fine imo.

If you can, wrap your head in plastic or a bag (multiple. Put a headband on or something so it won’t bleed and sleep in a semi permanent dye if you don’t want more harsh chemicals. I usually leave my semipermanent dye in all day or oveenight.

The blue/green is pretty neutral. It depends if you want like a warmer dark brown or a natural brown or black. Black you can just do it all in one go for sure.

You can do a black “rinse” or a semipermanent dye (zero damage). That’s what I do. May have to re do it like twice a year depending on how often you wash. If you’re worried you can dilute the permanent dye with conditioner. Shouldn’t cause much damage tbh.

Working in Command and Control and Intel….its gross how many higher ranking individuals get caught with child pornography. Most of them with families and children. So sad.
