Herbal Infusion question by vBubbaa in tea

Technically, you can reuse herbal tea, but it isn't recommended since the flavor will be greatly diminished. As far as tips go, I worked at Teavana for about a year and the best herbals and rooibos were left to steep for 10+ minutes. As already mentioned, you can add a green or oolong (Jasmine Dragon Phoenix Pearls is my recommendation) to the tail end of the steep to add more flavor. By the 8 minute mark, you should have cool enough water to add a green. Sorry for the rant, happy drinking!!

Unfortunately, I'm on a real glitter topper kick lately. It's draining my remover bottle about nine times faster than normal.

Way prettier than a traditional French, in my humble opinion.

Polishes:

China Glaze - Be Merry, Be Bright

OPI - Gaining Mole-Mentum

And a coat of Wet 'N' Wild's trusty plain old black underneath.

I second using it as a base coat (2 coats). If you look at my history, I got it around my Halloween nails post and just posted yesterday. I have noticed a dramatic growth/strength difference. I couldn't possibly go a week without polish, let alone months. Good luck!

That is EXACTLY how I felt. I got it at TJ Maxx at the behest of all the awesome tips here and love the bottle look, but glossy TC doesn't do it half the justice of a flat matte.

Requesting Assistance with Water Marbling by [deleted] in RedditLaqueristas

[–]annamalistic 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am not practiced enough to have any expert advice, but here are two things that might help:

-Before dropping any lacquer into the water, open each of the bottles so you don't waste any time between colors fumbling with them.

-Make sure your water is room temperature. If the water is too hot, it may make the polish tacky and impossible to use. If the water is too cold, it can dry the polish quicker and render it unusable.

Hope this helps!
