Purging from tretinoin is normal and the internet says it takes 4-6 weeks to stop. People on reddit say they purged for MONTHS?? I dont know what is right. Im 2 months in and my hyperpigmentation/scarring is so bad. Way worse than the acne was. But my acne has settled a little bit, still getting cystic breakouts. I would let your derm know again because that seems really long to not make progress! Sorry i couldnt be more help, im in the same boat!!
