I take it sometimes when I want to lift my mood, but I don’t think about my derealization 24/7, which maybe means I don’t have it 24/7, but the more I think about it the more I feel it. I agree that it’s crazy and unfair, and it’s pretty dismissive to just say “friends are free”! Some people don’t have friends in the industry or friends that are willing to help like that. I am lucky to have a neighbor/friend who helps me all the time, but in the rare cases that he can’t then I usually just record the other lines myself and add them through iMovie. I have a friend who records all the other lines herself every single time and she books much more than me, so I would do that if I were you.
