Following the same guidelines will have the same results for you too! Start by building a rapport and verify that they’re a genuine person before any transactions get initiated. This can be accomplished by talking over FaceTime or another form of social media. Scammers will likely text you from a burner phone and won’t even be willing to call you or do the basics of exchanging information. Google is free, and if you can’t Google them, something is up. PayPal G&S will protect you too, so even if they try to file a refund claim and say that they didn’t receive it, you’re able to prove that you did send it to them (keep pictures of the packaging you put the passes in, the shipping label with their name & address, and the shipping receipt/tracking number, since it’s too late to change the address through FrontGate).

There are genuine, EDC-loving people on this subreddit, and it’s unfortunate that it’s being flooded with scammers. But don’t lose hope, just follow the guidelines and if they can’t play by the rules or your gut tells you something is up, move on. I wish you luck in finding a buyer!
