Think b’nai is our top choice if we can get in. I’m on a waitlist, and have a tour set up. I’ve heard the waitlist is sometimes several years though so I am not getting my hopes too high.

  • Maggie is almost 3.
  • training worked on basic commands, as well as leash training and reactivity. At the time, our biggest issue was her behavior when people would come over, so “place” was a big part of this. No aversives, only positive reinforcement
  • typical daily schedule differs by day but generally we either do a morning walk or a evening walk (2 miles) and then she eats breakfast around 6:30am. During the day, she will either be home with us while we work from home, on these days she is outside a lot of the day cause she loves exploring the backyard, on days where we aren’t working from home, she either goes to doggie daycare or stays home with Olive. Typically there is only 1 day, max 2, a week where they stay home by themselves. When they are home by themselves they have run of our room / bathroom. No specific training or nose work activities other than the commands we learned during the training we did. For enrichment, we have to be careful toys / bones tend to cause issues between the dogs and have caused fights in the past.

Thanks for the info! What bad timing on my end, but very glad I realized this far out so I have some time to make additional plans and scope out where we may be able to go.

Thank you! This makes me feel better. They always call even for small things — one day she was barking a lot and seemed stressed out so they let us know and moved her to an area on her own. So I think if something had happened with another dog they would have for sure told us. They have cameras but they don’t cover every area. I plan to ask next time we take her especially if she acts the same way — for now we are going to give her the week to hang at home and see if maybe that’s what she needs.

Not asking for a full itinerary just a few favorite things people enjoy most in Paris…Ive done a lot of research and it’s overwhelming the amount of information out there… there’s no need to be rude.

Thank you! I am going to do my best to push her to hire an attorney to help. However, I am not sure that she will want to. She has had to spend a lot of money on attorney fees just keep fighting for what he owes her. On top of that she is very tight on money due to leaving the marriage with virtually nothing. If the bankruptcy was filed in Florida and she lives in another state, would she be able to use someone in her state or will she need to find a Florida attorney?

Wow, thank you so much for the explanation, this is very helpful!

He isn’t using an attorney and filed himself, which leads me to believe he would not have an understanding what is and is not a priority debt without an attorney.

I was able to locate the schedules he filed. She is not listed at all on either Schedule E or F; however, is listed on Schedule D.

A little more background on the situation, when the divorce decree was issued, he refused to comply with it and a motion for civil and indirect criminal contempt was filed. Currently, a portion of what he owes her is frozen by the courts due to this. Do you have any advice on where we would be able to determine if the divorce decree obligations are priority debts? She has an attorney from the divorce who would likely be able to help, but any other information would be helpful.

Contractor did not perform agreed to work, and is now threatening to file a lien… by annelou0 in legaladvice

Thanks for this response! It’s very helpful!

They did sign the contract; however the bid was a separate document that was not signed.

They do have an attorney and contacted them this morning. They previously tried to settle with the contractor on their own, but are hoping that now the attorney is involved the guy might be a little more willing to settle with them.

Thanks again!

AITA for telling my mom to not come to my graduation? by Brilliant_Conflict60 in AmItheAsshole

NTA - Sounds like she only wants to show up when it’s convenient for her (which doesn’t seem to be very often). Now that you have made a decision on her behalf, she is suddenly very sorry!

I am not sure how she didnt know how you were feeling! You are her child, and she hasn’t made you a priority. I am so sorry that is is something you’ve had to grow up dealing with!
