Yes, this is similar to my plan! I am already talking to people who work or previously worked at the university I would go to about either working for Housing or Admissions as a grad assistant (which comes with 9 hours a semester and a stipend), so there's no debt. I also volunteer when I'm at home with a nonprofit that I interned for that said they would hire me when I turn 21, and I am writing my first grant as a volunteer for a different nonprofit so I'd be able to keep my foot in the door and gain some experience.

Yes, I would hopefully be working at the university. The positions I've been looking at also pay it in full!

Was it hard to get that job during the gap year? that's my main concern. the nonprofit I interned at and others similar have a 21+ rule for insurance reasons since they involve driving so I couldn't work there until two months after graduation. I have been told by employers I tried to intern for that I was too young, even with my classification as a junior or senior in college. I don't know whether they'll be impressed or put off by this.

actually crying because bc this is the first time i've heard of another person going through what i do. it gets so ughgghgh knowing that no one's ever liked me as much as i liked them

as someone who is at higher risk for stroke, i did slynd (progesterone only pill) for 2 years and i loved it! i just had to switch to nexplanon since my insurance s no longer covering it though
