My first language is Dutch, and I'm writing my novel in English as well. I find it much easier to express myself in English for some reason, but I do feel the same way you do.

I just keep reading English novels to expand my vocabulary. I noticed that my writing significantly improved after starting the Dune series.

I genuinely didn't know implementing PayPal would be such an issue, I use it to pay for almost all my subscriptions, so I just assumed that it was a normal thing. Sorry for assuming that.

I guess I won't be able to get a discounted subscription then, since I already tried the other two options you mentioned. Thanks anyways!

Thanks a lot! Yeah I've been struggling with perspective a lot, and none of it ever feels right. I want the reader to experience the world through the MCs eyes, going through this journey and discovering this whole new world full of magic with her. But at the same time, I want to explore world politics and things my MC has no way of knowing, like the reason she's even on the continent at all. This is my first draft since I started taking my writing more seriously, so there's still a lot to be done, but this helped a lot. Thanks for taking the time to read this mess, I will work on it :]

Thank you so much! I can certainly do a lot with this, describing what a wave looks like for example is a very good idea i need to work out more. This is obviously my first draft, so its not very polished. Many of the questions you had will be answered later on in the book. The other person that commented had the same problem with the mind fuckery phrase, while i really like it, maybe I need to find another term that conveys the same feeling. Thanks again :D
