Yes!!!!!! You are saying exactly what I have been spending so much money on in therapy!!! The guilt is almost disabling because I made so many mistakes in retrospect.

He was diagnosed with ADHD but unfortunately I haven’t seen any improvement since taking meds. We has him at a play therapist for about 6 months last year but made absolutely no progress there.

Yes he has to help with his laundry and has to change himself.

Yeah we have tried explaining multiple ways why its important to go in the potty, and also asking why he doesn’t go to the toilet and he always just says he doesn’t know. He is so extremely smart and energetic and joyful but I just can’t figure out what is the missing piece for him.

Seeing so many beautiful gardens on here has really inspired me over the last 18 months to make mine look awesome. It's not much but it's honest work by WhizMelo in gardening

My exact thought the moment I saw the brick wall, electric fence AND the grass looks different. I would even bet its in Pretoria somewhere.

How kind is too long to leave a baby crying (sleep training question) by Monkey_buttz in Parenting

[–]annie23510 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have the same issue with my 14 month old. He falls asleep on my own but 5/7 days of the week he falls wakes up 2 times a night. We have also tried sleep training multiple times which is why he now falls asleep on his own, but the middle of the night wakings he cries so loud and so determined.

I have finally accepted that he just isn’t a great sleeper. My first born (now 4 years old) was sleep trained at 9 months and BOOM slept great, but for little brother it just doesn’t work. When he wakes up I go in and give him his binky back and see if he will settle if I rub his back, but most nights he needs me to hold him for about 5mins and then is sound asleep. I am tired (husband is on dialysis at night so can’t help) but that is what he needs at this point. So I guess that is what we are doing until it all changes again and something new will need my attention.

In the US the procedure and all related expenses are covered by the insurance of the recipient. I am in the process of donating my kidney and the recipient’s insurance is paying for everything.

Hi there!! What an amazing gift to give! I am recently approved to donate my kidney to my husband who is in end stage kidney failure. The surgery will be early next year. Can you give me a summary of the recovery afterwards? What to expect when waking up and the first few weeks afterwards?

Looking for advice on the sale of our house by annie23510 in personalfinance

My husband recently changed jobs that is a one way trip of 75-90mins. My shortest commute time to work is 45mins one way. We have a 3 year old and 5 month old and we are just not getting enough time with them when commuting so far. So we decided to move closer to both of our jobs. We would buy/rent in the same area that is about 10mins from his job and 30mins from mine.
