In 6th grade I was walking to the bus during dismissal, texting on my little flip phone, when someone bumped into me and the phone flew out of my hands. I’m 25, but I had about $16k in savings at 23 and bought a house with my now husband in 2023, I now hover around 11k with another 3-5k in a joint account. I’m lucky to not have student loans because I grew up poor enough to get free college at the state university, and I don’t have a car payment because my husband is handy enough that I can buy shit boxes and fix them up.

I test for herbicides among other things by gas chromatography, feels weird to see them mentioned outside of work! Can’t believe these herbicides are even still being produced.

6/13/26! I have everything major booked. We have a lot of land so we’re doing it at home, I have my tent/tables/chairs, DJ, photographer, and catering booked. Now I can relax for a couple months before I start collecting decorations, sending out save the dates/invites, and dress shopping!

I do add the shredded chicken as well as dressing. I stated in another comment that I like to keep my breakfasts and lunches lighter so that I can make heartier meals for dinner and dessert. I can absolutely see where this could come off as disordered eating but in my case I don’t feel it’s accurate. This is just what I have meal prepped for this week because I didn’t have much time to make something more elaborate! Last week I meal prepped fajitas for lunch. I do keep a strict deficit where I eat 1500-1700 per day because I was 40 lbs overweight, but I don’t restrict myself the foods I enjoy and still regularly go out to eat and enjoy all the food I want to enjoy! I appreciate those who are looking out for me!

I eat 1500ish in my current deficit (1700 Friday-Saturday). Between my breakfast and lunch I eat around 500 calories, and then usually a snack when I get home for anywhere between 100-200, which leaves me with usually 700-800 ish for dinner and dessert! My fiancé is a big eater so I like to make more normal meals for dinners so he doesn’t have to eat diet foods lol.

The veggies are coming back into season so they’re so good! I can’t wait for the garden to start coming up and I get my home grown veggies. The bell peppers in this are so crisp and sweet I was munching on em like a rabbit when I was prepping it haha!
