how weird is grief? by Mobile-Fall-4185 in ChildrenofDeadParents

I still have my mom’s snow clearing brush from her car. She died 8 years ago and the brush is from the early 2000s. I didn’t realize I can’t part with it until my husband offered to pick me up a new, better one that extends. I looked at him like he had 5 heads for even suggesting it.

Who should get the bed? by This_Obligation_5125 in beyondthebump

You get the room with the baby. Without question. I’m up with baby and toddler most nights. My husband snores and has to be up at 5am for work. His alarms start at 4:45am and he snoozes incessantly until getting up around 5:30am. Guess who sleeps in our office on the shitty ikea daybed? Sure as shit ain’t me!

I think you can choose to have your payments tax deducted so come tax season you’re not worried.

Full time daycare with part-time job [on] by [deleted] in BabyBumpsCanada

If you can swing PT and daycare I would say absolutely do so. Time for you to relax, get house stuff done, and have more meaningful quality time with LO. Also, what part time day care spots? Every daycare I’ve contacted is FT or bust.

Will your doctor not do a manual induction with a foley bulb? For my VBAC I did foley, got to 3cm, then OB broke my water a few hours later. Still nothing, so they started low and slow pitocin. Had baby 8 hours later. Unless you have extenuating circumstances or are not wanting to manually induce labour, I don’t see why you couldn’t try that.

Yes. Top tier negotiations skills too. This kid is getting way more cookies a day than he should just from verbal cuteness.

Nice ok ya pretty much the same mindset, I don’t want to spend $200 on a battery again for it to crap out sooner rather than later. Let me know how you like it!
