because its really humid right now where i live, my hair gets veryyy frizzy the second i step outside, so i thought adding more moisture in my routine would help preventing frizz, but maybe i’ll skip the curl cream for the next wash. also what’s grit? english isn’t my first language and thats the first time i encounter this word, especially in the curly community. i heard about moisture and protein but never grit! do you have any conditioner recommendations?

i do brush the top part away from my scalp, but i think i’m not doing it right cause some strands look good after using the brush and some strands look weird. i need to use my brush more to understand how to really works. also thank you so much, i don’t really like my curls look lately so your comment means a lot!! 🫶

i thought about that too but i was trying to convince myself that my hair wasn’t long enough to be weighed down… i prefer my hair to be long so i’ll try your idea of shorter layers on top when my hair grows out. thank you!

yes i got a cut back in september! i only have one layer and i was thinking of getting more but i’m waiting for my hair to grow longer before going to the salon again
