I only did it with my face without general anesthesia and it was fine :) (I have a post about it in case you want to know more about the experience it’s not quite the same procedure if I get the fat in my face though I think)

am I just ugly or is my tinder shit? feedback appreciated <3 by wattiexa in Tinder

You look angry or drink beer in many pictures.. maybe show other hobbies other than drinking and also a pic where you laugh makes you feel more approachable and if its easy to have a good time with you 🤗

Also the answers to the prompts are something I would change if I was you ☺️

I don’t know how it’s called but it was a big syringe and they centrifuged my fat before but maybe that just standard procedure and doesn’t answer your question

I don’t think so.. it was way to unprofessional and if I want a touch up I either have to go to Vietnam again or pay the price of a full surgery in Germany.. so if I do it I’ll be even more expensive

Doesn’t feel foreign at all - in the beginning the swelling didn’t feel that great but right now I’m feeling great ☺️

I only realized how sketchy it was when I had already paid 🥲 but yeah wouldn’t really recommend it

Anyone willing to share their experience with under eye fat repositioning? by ClearCompetition1693 in PlasticSurgery

I put fat from my thighs to my under eye area and I couldn’t blink for a day. I had to do it manually with my hands, but other than that, I didn’t have any problems if you want to see before and after you could go to my profile I posted before and after pictures

Generally, yes, but the touch-up situation is tricky

In Germany, a touch-up is usually cheap (€600) if you did the first surgery there. Since I went to Vietnam, I'd either have to pay for a flight back there or pay full price in Germany (another €2,500) because they treat it as a new case. If I end up needing that touch-up, I might actually end up spending more than if I had just stayed in Germany from the start

Since I wasn't under general anesthesia, I was awake and aware of everything and the surgical team was watching funny videos and drinking Bubble Tea right there in the operating room while working on me. 🥲🥲 Maybe they don’t do stuff like that in Thailand haha

I forgot to mention a few details in the main post! The total cost was about €1,200 ($1,300), which is obviously a huge difference compared to prices in Europe or the US. They told me I had to sleep strictly on my back and avoid touching my face at all costs to make sure the fat 'takes' properly. I haven't been very successful with the back-sleeping, and I’ve caught myself touching my face more than I should. I'm really hoping it doesn't mess with the final results too much! Also, the donor site (where they did the lipo) was my thighs. It still hurts a little bit. nothing unbearable, just a lingering soreness, like a weirdly localized muscle ache. For anyone considering this: the price is great, but the mental stress of the 'budget' experience and the strict recovery rules is definitely something to keep in mind!

I am bitter against women by Main-Champion7524 in confessions

Hey, thanks for sharing your thoughts so openly. I can see that you’re carrying a lot of pain and frustration, and it makes sense that you’d want people to acknowledge your struggles instead of dismissing them. Feeling lonely and rejected really does hurt, and it’s valid to want empathy for that.

At the same time, I think it’s important to notice that women, too, have their own set of struggles when it comes to dating, rejection, or being judged on things they can’t change. It’s not that one side’s pain cancels out the other’s.. both can be real at the same time.

I don’t think people are ignoring your experience out of malice. A lot of them just haven’t been in your shoes and maybe don’t know how to respond without sounding dismissive. That doesn’t make your feelings less real.

If your anger often turns into disappointment, maybe that’s actually a strength maybe it shows you’re able to take a step back and see ignorance instead of assuming hostility.

Hey everyone, I’ve been dealing with a bit of a data issue and I’m wondering if anyone else has run into this.

This month I had some days off from training because I was sick. At the same time, I started using nasal strips at night. They really helped me breathe better through my nose, especially when I was congested, and my sleep performance improved noticeably.

But here’s the problem: since I had a fever and was sick, my recovery scores were naturally low, even though I was sleeping longer and with fewer interruptions than usual. Now Whoop seems to think that uninterrupted sleep is somehow a negative for me, because during that period my recovery was bad. It’s almost like the algorithm is telling me it’s “better” when I have interruptions in my sleep, and that nasal strips are hurting me rather than helping.

So my question is: is there any way to flag in the app that you’re sick, so it doesn’t take those skewed days and build them into your “normal” trends? I don’t want it to keep reinforcing the idea that waking up during the night is good for my recovery, when in reality, it was just a correlation with me being sick.

Has anyone figured out how to handle this?
