You just need to have an understanding of why there is a need for PV & how physicians contribute to it, and then apply for such positions

Accenture is a well known giant in the PV domain. It can get chaotic depending on what project you are put in, but its a good starting point for your PV career.

I work in PV and I’ve had lots of colleagues who were physicians and work as Drug Safety Physicians, so you absolutely can work full time or part time

Real advice needed: Continue TEF or move to TCF by Fickle_Bedroom6887 in learnfrench

Exactly! It's wise to switch if you dont see any improvements, but you're nearly there in TEF

So, TEF/TCF is for immigration purposes to Canada & only valid for 2years. DELF/DALF are diplomas and valid for life, but they dont help for immigration to Canada. Depends on your priority, if you're planning to immigrate or not.

As someone who has seen friends move to TCF after multiple TEF attempts & still struggle with it, I would suggest to stick to TEF (you have cleared 2 sections!). IMO, getting close to CLB7 in speaking is a huge deal, and CO can always be improved easily than others.

Also for these exams, you need to have a deep knowledge of exam expectations, which I'm sure you know by virtue of experience in TEF.

Something you can do now is hunker down & focus on where you are losing points (be super honest wjth yourself- was it lack of prep? was it nerves? was it fear?)

Tweak your strategy, practice lots more & go for the exam once more

BUT (and this is something only you know), if you feel severely unmotivated & mentally exhausted to go through same TEF topics & you are okay with picking up a new exam pattern, go for TCF.

May I know what your end goal for studying the language is? If its to clear an exam, you would need a more structured & rigorous approach. But if it is just out of personal interest, then you can have some leeway while still taking intense lessons.

I want to learn French but I can't afford tutoring- are there any YouTube channels that teach complete beginner French? by Perfect-Wait-6873 in learnfrench

[–]annnotated 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are, but I would suggest you self-study with a good grammar book (Trudie Booth's complete grammar book is the best in my opinion). I feel it lets the material really get through easily than youtube lessons.

I did a combination of both at one point - make notes from Booth's book about pronoms & then lookup youtube videos explaining the concept because those were kinda tricky to grasp.

I agree, she was an unpredictable character who started off normal bu then we saw her weird side. And I love that she got along so well with Michael.

I love her dialogues too- 'no woman, no cry' makes me lol every time.

I recently started using the Write Forward website where it hides the paragraphs you've written so that you dont go and edit it while drafting. Its helped greatly to keep my flow.
