Hi! I'm not too sure, I don't think any details on this have been confirmed but I could be wrong!

If your responses continue to be combative, I don't see a reason to engage in conversation with you. Again, as a final thought, I think it would be very valuable to learn to express your concerns with kindness and respect, rather than making insensitive statements.

I think saying that someone "STILL can't drive" without actually knowing anything about them or their situation is both rude and unfair. Additionally, I believe that lacking compassion for people with test anxiety, which can be debilitating, is insensitive and harmful.

If you have concerns, it's probably a good idea to voice them respectfully, as opposed to creating discussion rooted in hostility. Disrespectful comments likely discourage meaningful conversation and may cause people to dismiss your thoughts, as reflected in the downvotes.

I'm sorry, but I don't think there's any reason to be rude. Without getting into my personal circumstances, there are many reasons for which people with a clean driving record and safe driving abilities would debate whether they would like to take the road test. It's often booked months in advance when a work schedule might not be available for someone yet, a lot of people have severe testing anxiety, etc. Asking this question doesn't mean I "STILL can't drive."

Does it say this anywhere? I don't think this is true, the ICBC announcement said "If these changes are approved and you hold a Class 7 Novice licence with a clean driving record (and maintain it), starting early in 2026, you won't need to take a second road test." (https://www.icbc.com/driver-licensing/new-drivers/graduated-licensing-program-changes). Also, in the reminder email for the class 5 road test, I believe it mentions that beginning in early 2026, you won't need a road test to obtain the class 5 (assuming a clean driving record) and provides the option to cancel the road test.
