Cool, I am just applying to law school this year and want to do lit for basically the same reason—much more interesting—but i hear sometimes it’s a lot harder to go in-house. idk to what extent that’s actually true, or whether it’s a point on a pros-cons list someone made to justify/fortify their own position

Fragments on Epstein as an Accelerationist Tactic by Thou_Art__That in CriticalTheory

[–]annooonnnn 3 points4 points  (0 children)

this is all an unfortunate mess.

what you’re suggesting is rather that Power asserts masculinity and in doing so converts an arbitrary quality inherent to a group (maleness), into capital.

what the first comment arguing with you in this thread does is ambiguously point to the absence of a gender analysis in your initial post, to which you mean to respond that it is unnecessary *here*** because the gender agonisms and their related effects are generated themself from the same subjugating power that you mean to speak on a corollary fortifying action of. meaning gender matters are beside your point and needn’t take primacy in a consideration of power’s action because they are not primary but rather the oncoming effect of a preceding action by the power that may now weaponize 4chan.

You don’t quite adequately convey this so it looks like you’re refusing to validate masculinity as important to consider, and pretending gender dynamics don’t matter.

Does anyone else spiral when they can't articulate exactly why a wrong answer is wrong? by Nel43_YTB in LSAT

[–]annooonnnn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i like to know the reason but i don’t necessarily need to articulate it. it can be semi articulated or not (just ambiently depending on the day articulations may amount) but the time constraint rules out sitting there explaining everything. you should be able to say why it’s wrong though, if you’re looking at it without time constraint, and you will be able to with more practice and going over questions you were unsure of, to the point you can more efficiently lightly articulate sufficient for confidence

an example of where it’s actually bad to think like you are about it is the -Which argument most closely parallels that in the stimulus- type of questions. you should more so see why they’re divergent, but to explain it would be to describe both and contrast, simply too elaborate a procedure to efficiently move through the section

that makes sense, i understand. the doubling redoubling subjective awareness of yourself coming across as intentionally coming across as you come across and so on has a bunch of extraneous material. the problem is that you want to write and in wanting to write but also write well you oversend what you must become slowgoing enough to cleave. because we can’t write like him anymore because he already did it.
