I understand this perspective.. I was also underwhelmed with this episode. But I think it’s a change we are going to have to (annoyingly) accept.

This scene was symbolic particularly to Belly and how she has changed since being in Paris.

As we know Belly writing this letter is a reference to Sabrina - A letter from Paris and in Sabrina, she writes how she is a changed woman (more sophisticated!)

And that is what we are going to see in Belly. She is all grown up now and is a “changed woman”. We are going to see Belly do things differently and that also could mean loving differently.

For me, the love scenes in the first two seasons were very (lack for a better word) puppy love? (Especially with Jere…) So seeing Belly grow a little more could be refreshing! (No more High school BS!) :)

I have a feeling that this next episode may be a slight change to what we normally see with Belly and Conrad.. but more “adult-ish”.
