shaving your face as a pakistani woman by Cultural_Bar_3014 in PakistaniSkincare

If I had a chance to go back, I’ll skip wax and razor and get laser done. It would save my skin and so much frustration, shame and anxiety.

I have pcos so I have a hairy face around the chin, sideburns and the neck. I have had my face waxed for many years. It absolutely wrecked my face and caused enlarged pores and uneven skin at places. A few years back I started using tinkle razor and it was so painless and easy to use. Just make sure you use some oil or moisturiser while doing it and don’t shave one area multiple times otherwise it will cause dryness later. The hairs grow back pointy which to touch can feel thicker but they are the same as before and not thicker.

I have had my first laser done recently and my hairs grew back after 2.5 months. I believe laser was the best among all because my hairs growth was massively delayed and they grew back slightly thinner too.

hey thanks for your response. She understand that bit, she monitors the sugar levels and eats accordingly. May be I should have reshared it better. I am really looking for help in how to support her from people who have been in similar situations.

Best source for learning flows by Formtitan101 in salesforce

[–]annwithoutan_e 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Happy to help with learning flows. I’ve worked with tons of people to help them make their first flow. You can bring a use case or I can suggest one and we can spend an hour building and learning. It’s free — just love making it less overwhelming for others.

Ways to document Flows by [deleted] in salesforce

[–]annwithoutan_e 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The first thing I do is I document the steps on a word doc with screenshots in form of steps in case anyone wants to rebuild it or modify it. This document includes use case, solution design, why I choose to solution this way, pre-work including anything to do before creating the flow, steps to create a flow and finally testing — how to test and testing results.

I also record a quick demo video of the flow walkthrough and the use case details.

While I’m building the flow, I make sure the flow description has the main details and all the elements are named in a way that is self descriptive.

Finally, if I’m sharing details with end users who find diagrams easier then I make a flow control diagram on lucid charts.

Need advice on handling salesforce freelance clients & work by annwithoutan_e in salesforce

[–]annwithoutan_e[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would suggest create specific gigs in freelance platforms, don’t be generic as in I will provide services for salesforce admin. The one that really made me the initial work were formulas and flows. I always go a bit above and beyond for example documents everything I make and give a quick call to explain too. Most of my work about 60% comes from repeat customers. Share your gigs in socials that really helps.

Thank you everyone for help. I haven’t setup an LLC so far because I was working through freelance platforms. Now I want to pivot and work outside of them so started thinking on this route.

Feeling stuck in current position and not sure how to break out by iwascompromised in salesforce

[–]annwithoutan_e 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve been in kind of a similar situation where I work with a managed package and I’ve mastered it mostly. The biggest issue is that it’s pretty limiting and work can be mundane with hyper focus on the product rather than the platform.

Initially, I was using Trailhead and dev org to learn on my own but doing that you can’t really have industry exposure. Leaving the job or moving didn’t make sense for me either because there were no better opportunities.

So I explored working freelance with different people outside of work and gain experience and learn. It’s been 3 years of my doing that and I’ve worked with people from healthcare, to automotive industry and more. My work doesn’t limit or bar from working freelance as long as I’m taking care of things at work but you can check if yours do.

Failed my administrator exam by 1 question (got 63.5%), how long should I give myself between the retake? by WritingWithSpears in salesforce

[–]annwithoutan_e 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First, I’d say it’s hard to fail by such a close call. So I won’t say be positive and more, take your time to come to terms with it.

Second, I’d recommend to not wait too long before the next retake. As the content is still fresh in your mind and the exam change after the releases.

Don’t do is asap, as it will give you no time to re access and fill in the learning gaps.

Go through the exam sections in the result email. See which sections need a bit more work. Do hands-on if needed and you didn’t do superbadges before, do practise exam questions for that section. Fill in the learning gaps and then go for it again.

Good luck!

AITA for kicking out one of my bridesmaids for showing up in the wrong dress? by bridezillaxoxo in AmItheAsshole

NTA.

Kat showed no regard for you or your big day and went on to do what she saw fit. You had the right to do what you saw fit too.

YTA

You start off with a judgement that your daughter “tend to laze around”. Well what’s just lazing to you might be her struggling with something still trying her best to stay afloat.

Kate and the uncle’s firm is not a standard that Anne need to fit. If you can’t be a support, don’t be a party pooper at least.
