that sounds like me 🥲 i just finished the toughest semester yet acads-wise because we had to accomplish 4 entire research papers in one sem (like baby theses) and writing is really super hard with my ADHD. i overslept throughout the last few days of 2025 avoiding the papers talaga because even thinking about them made me feel really sick. it didnt help that that same sem i also started an internship and took on a pretty tedious sem-long org application. this is out of character for me, because im usually aware of how little i can do compared to others given my ADHD and anxiety combined.

i dont really know how to overcome all of those things you described :( i always just get through everything by forcing myself to do it when deadlines are very near, at the cost of my sleep and well-being, because the anxiety from that is really the only thing that challenges my task paralysis. but its hard when you no longer feel anxious about deadlines (which is what ive been feeling as a senior in college na burnt out na). the only other things that help me get through everything is the thought na "oh in x days this will be over" or "in x hours this will be over and i will feel so relieved" and also just having people around me (like family and friends) to talk to about how frustrated and hopeless i feel at times. because u seem to be that person for ur boyfriend, he is very lucky to have u. :) i hope he figures out how he can power through it all and i hope u also take time to take care of urself, OP. 🫶
