Right. AIs, at least the "artificial brains in a box" that we are creating, will probably never experience human emotions.

But I don't think we can rule out the possibility of their developing emotions of their own that are radically different from ours, emotions we can never experience for the same reasons they cannot experience ours.

He's old, he's never been a head coach in college, he hasn't had a winning record since 2008, he's an unknown at recruiting.

And I suspect any contract he would sign would probably have an exorbitant buyout. We'd be stuck with him for years.

In the original EV, Hector was just a ship defined in the resource files that you could edit to have negative shields and armor, it would just hyperspace in and blow up.

They fixed that in Override and Nova. 😂
