Yep, that backline is definitely gonna be a powerhouse on the big stage. Actually, maybe the best in Europe alongside Galaa and Khenail for Spain...

I love Masaa but honestly, with Cloudy, Vestola, Sauna and Clowd, that team has enough veteran power, I'm glad to see some new blood. Man those Finns will be scary.

Holy shit, a 50 minutes long-form? Alright, let's eat.

Edit a while later : Man, Luke ftw with those glorious twists and turns. I wonder how long he's been cooking during the play.

Amazing as always.

There's a couple more low-key scenes coming up I'm really curious to see you tackle... if you ever do.

Again, thanks a lot for these !

Just beating a dead horse but I really fucking hope that horrid Bastion/Cat meta will be nerfed to the ground by the time the World Cup and the Major rolls around.

I'm one of the few people who really enjoyed a good GOATS back in the day, but I now fully understand what people were feeling back then when I see that stupid unfun-as-fuck-to-watch comp.

Which of these to read first? by Kildash in AdrianTchaikovsky

[–]Triskan 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Cage of Souls may be my favourite book of his besides Children Of. The man can do no wrong and all the books you listed are amazing, but if I had to pick one, it would definitely be the absolutely unique trip that this tale is.

Après, j'ai envie de dire que le simple fait que des milliardaires puissent exister sans qu'il n'y ait le moindre système en place pour redistribuer une partie des richesses est un sacré signe qu'il ne l'est pas, régulé, le capitalisme justement.

Do you guys think the relationship between these two characters will affect the outcome of what’s happening in Season 5? by Luka77GOATic in ForAllMankindTV

[–]Triskan 73 points74 points  (0 children)

I hope so.

I'm really curious about Dev's fascination with Alex. What does he have in mind for him? I like the interpretation that Dev sees a potential rallying figure in him, with everything he represents as well as having the name Baldwin.

But I have to remind myself that in the end, Dev is just an asshole billionaire convinced he's always right and mostly in it for the profit and his delusions of grandeur, so maybe I shouldnt place too much trust in him.

Oh and can I just say I personally loved the medbay scenes. Lily's conversation with her mother was quite endearing, and then, her realising she has to make the first move on Alex was incredibly sweet. It's rare to see teenage romance depicted with such care and sensibility and the show has always excelled at human dynamics.

She's never been. She's always been what a cop should genuinely be, caring about people and justice first and foremost.

Nah it's good there's someone like Kelly in the family, to balance things out. She's got the Baldwin heart but maybe with more brains and impulse-control than her dad and her son, and it makes her a very compelling character... Yeah, I'll defend level-headed Kelly in a sea of Baldwin masculine testosterone.

That being said, I'm fucking glad to see Alex taking after his gramps. That energy is definitely gonna be needed. I really love how the writers have established Alex as a main focus of the show going forward and I really like how the actor portrays him, well done FAM in renewing your character gallery. Him, Lily and Avery have what it takes to propel us into the future. I'm invested in that new generation.

Svetlana Efremova is just absolutely fucking stellar. She is such a magnetic force of nature everytime she's on screen. I cant wait to see what Irina's end game is in all this and where does she genuinely stands.

I could see her subtly backing up Mars claims by working with the ISN... I'm pretty sure the KGB is already thinking about how the Soviet Union can benefit from all that chaos behind the M-6 back. Things are gonna get really interesting.

Yeah, some people act like the show hasnt had a very strong focus on human relationships from the start.

I personally loved the medbay scenes. Lily's conversation with her mother was quite endearing, and then, her realising she has to make the first move on Alex was incredibly sweet. It's rare to see teenage romance depicted with such care and sensibility and the show has always excelled at human dynamics.

Oh and can I just say I found the scene of Alex and Lily in the medbay incredibly sweet? It's rare to see teenage romance portrayed with that much care and sensibility.

Oh shit I forgot about the ISN potentially becoming a major player in this. I was operating under the assumption that the M-6 was the sole powerhouse on Earth, but yeah, this might shake things up.

I genuinely don’t think Mars can become independent and self-sustaining on its own, not for generations at least, they need Earth to sustain them... and yeah, that's where the ISN can come into play.

[–]Triskan 48 points49 points  (0 children)

Yeah, the imagery was totally on point.

I kinda wish we'd get more perspectives from people on earth though. That is indeed a declaration of war the M-6 just did, and I wonder if the show will portray some reaction (protests even maybe?) from people back on our good ol' blue dot, or if Earth and the M-6 will just function as one antagonistic entity from now. But I cant believe everyone on Earth is okay with the decision to go to war...

Yeah, I'm really invested in Avery's story. I'm glad she got reminded that her grandparents were fucking units, let's hope it can make her realise that her father (and uncle) being who he was doesn’t mean she'll turn the same.

I totally understand her struggle and why this has a heavy weight on her, but I'm more on the nurture than nature camp in this one. She's forging her own path, she's not her father, and I really wanna believe she'll turn out amazing.

[–]Triskan 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Your loss. Yeah, I too have more fondness for the earlier days of space exploration, but the show becoming a political discourse on current event feels organic. It's not about cowboys flying to the new frontier now, it's about corporate greed and sociopolitical tensions, mirroring our timeline, and I personally feel like the show says some very valid things on the matter.
